Better then trying to fight with other stuff just pick this up
It was pretty good basically plug and playhook it up fill it up squeeze and you have brakes

Poor casting
I never write reviews but I feelIt’s necessary for this part. I got around to installing the master cylinder on my vt600 the other day and went to go for a ride this morning and the entire lower half of the master cylinder broke off when I squeezed the lever. Very poor casting and could have been a serious accident or worse if it made it out of the drive way. Stay away if you enjoy living

Mine was pulled apart and not assembled. Box was busted and missing parts.
