The extra padding and sturdiness of these made them so worth the extra cost.

Wish the seat was just a bit deeper. And wish the gray vinyl matched the gray frame; vinyl is kind of a weird gray with green undertones. But they’re padded, comfortable, have good back support, fold and open easily, and store snuggly against each other so as not to take up much space.

Love these chairs but only three came in my order of four. I sent a message about that but heard nothing back.

The chairs are attractive (for metal folding chairs), rock solid and comfortable. I do agree with a couple of other reviewers that the depth of the seat may be a little short for taller people, but it is right in line with all the others, and is comfortable. The cushioning is good, the metal finish is good, and the vinyl fabric seems fairly strong. We had a minor cosmetic problem on one chair (obviously not from transit; it must have escaped factory quality control), but the seller resolved the problem immediately and totally. We are pleased enough with the product and the seller that as soon as I complete this review we're ordering another set to give our kids.

Comfort: Wow! The padding and positioning of the padding makes these chairs extremely comfortable! (Maybe too comfortable: my family wants to replace my beautiful dining room chairs with these.)Sturdiness/stability: Definitely. These are strong and stable, and I feel comfortable using these extra chairs even with larger guests who need more support or with older, more fragile guests who need a safe, well-balanced chair.Appearance: In the product picture, these look like the ugly chairs from the church basement from 50 years ago, but they are much nicer in person! We bought these in gray as extra seating for Christmas dinner, and I thought (before I saw these unboxed and set up at the table) that I was trading beauty for quality but these looked surprisingly attractive at the table. (The color of these chairs actually matched a hint of one of the colors in the tablecloth, and the chairs blended right in. I think that helped.)Highly recommended! I wish I had reason and space to buy more.

We ordered these chairs for our church. We serve a free breakfast to our community each Saturday morning and most of the people who attend are elderly. They have a difficult time sitting on chairs with no padding. Our old folding chairs had no padding and people complained that they were hard and cold in the winter. After much research, I decided on these chairs because they are higher quality than most of the other padded chairs on the market and they were worth the additional cost in comparison. They are definitely more sturdy and have thicker padding on both the seat and back. We chose the dark grey and the color is nice. I spoke with the company by phone and had them delivered by truck. All eight cartons came the day and time promised and were undamaged. The chairs were in perfect condition. Our driver was exceptionally helpful and friendly. When the people come for breakfast now, they are so appreciative to have comfortable chairs to sit on.

These folding chairs are excellent. I bought 8 of these folding chairs (they come in boxes of four chairs per box - I got two boxes of chairs, for a total of 8 chairs). These chairs look great and the padding on seat and seat back is thick and quite comfortable. Believe me, they can hold a 300 pound person with no problem!! Honestly, I sat in one of these chairs for 2 hours during the course of the evening and my butt didn't hurt when I got up! To me, that is the true test of comfort! I definitely recommend this brand and this model folding chair beyond any doubt! Price is right too!!

We wanted chairs that would not scratch our newly refinished hardwood floor; we've had many fold-up chairs before where the caps at the ends of the legs were flimsy and broke off or eroded through, leaving hard metal edges. These chairs have thick, sturdy protective caps. The chairs themselves are comfortable and sturdy, I'm very glad I bought them, and if we decide we need more folding chairs I would buy more of the same.
