OTAH Forestier Women's Waterproof Hiking Mid-Cut Camel/Pink Boots

I have only used these a few times for regular walking so far, not hiking. They're more comfortable then I expected as I usually don't wear boots but sneakers. They're cushioned. Bottom is sturdy for rocks but if your climbing mountains who knows. I didn't totally check waterproofing but at least in a little water they're appearing waterproof so far.

I so badly wanted to give these boots 5-stars. I bought these boots for my hiking trip to Pictured Rock's in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Not even two miles into my very first hike of the trip, I end up accidentally kicking a root that was jutting out into the trail and ripped a significant hole into the top of my left boot. If it was punctured at the seam I suppose I would understand as that is a vulnerable point, but this sucker popped right through the synthetic suede upper material of the boot. Maybe I'm naive to think a $60 pair of boots made for hiking and advertised/marketed to hikers would withstand a simple toe-tap with a tree. I felt so incredibly vulnerable on my trip after that when hiking - I really didn't want to ruin them any further.If that setback wouldn't have happened, I'd be giving these boots 5-stars without a doubt. They are crazy comfy, especially with the memory foam inside. They are indeed waterproof, I did get a chance to test them out before the "incident" and was impressed. I didn't break them in before my trip and I had no problem with blisters - though I did order a half size up and wore thick socks.Ultimately, I like these boots a lot and want to keep them but would very much like to be sent a new pair that isn't torn. ok... either I've had my feet unexpectedly shrink as I've grown or I've received some defected boots in size? I usually wear a size 8, so I ordered these in a 7.5 since I like my workout shoes to fit snug. Well the 7.5 had my feet swimming in them. So I returned them and ordered a 7, and they were still HUGE, even after trying them on with really thick hiking socks. I'm tired of sending them back and having to pay for shipping multiple times and not having them fit. They are super comfortable but this sizing hassle has me a bit frustrated, hence the 3 stars. Very unfortunate since they are really cute and soft, so up to you if you wanna take the gamble and maybe struggle finding your correct size.

I bought these boots April 2020. They are great overall, comfortable, good fit, cute, and functional. The only thing that disappointed me is that one of the laces came with a melted spot like someone melted 2 laces together. After about a month of only using them on the weekends, the melted part broke apart. Luckily it was only the outer layer of the lace that was melted together. But I am still a little worried about how long the laces will last. Other than that this is a great product at a great price.

I'm returning mine because I'll need at least a 9.5 (I usually wear a 8.5, which is what I ordered) to comfortable fit with socks. To be clear, the 8.5 don't fit me without socks, which is why I'm going up a full size instead of a half size. From when I tried them on, the soles were very comfortable. I wish I had ordered the right size! They're good quality and I really like the teal accent on them. I'll add to my review once I get them in my size and complete a hike!

I ordered a size up and they fit perfectly! I had read reviews saying how comfortable these shoes are and I would definitely agree! I took them out today and walked through a stream several inches deep and my feet were totally dry and my shoes were easy to clean afterwards. They’re great because they don’t feel hot and I live in Missouri, so I was worried that since they’re water proof they would be too hot, but they’re really nice! I usually get blisters on my feet after wearing new shoes but so far, so good! I love them!

I usually wear size 8 in sneakers, but I ordered half a size down in this pair and there's still plenty of room for me to wiggle my toes. It's comfortable and light weight.

I wear these on my daily hikes. They're the best. After about a 6 mile hike, however, in the wrong sock, you might blister. Get wool socks and you're all set
