This cooler surprised me at how well made it appears to be. I really like how thick the walls are and how well it kept my snacks cool over a long weekend trip. I only used a few really cold bottles of water for cooling and it kept my pre-chilled dairy and fruit items and other snacks in perfectly cool shape. I did not test for length of keeping ice but that was not my intended use for this anyway. I was confused by the wording that says it will hold 24 cans of drinks because it simply will not - it is fairly small, but perfect for a big lunch for a couple of people or small cooled snacks - yogurt, cheese, fruit - for a small family. I like it so much that I gave away my older hard sided 6 can cooler! If you'll note the sizes from the pictures I sent you will see that the wall thickness is right about 1.5 inches. The inside dimensions are about 8" x 11" and 8" deep. Not a 24 can cooler but plenty of room for a 6 pack and ice or snacks like I mentioned.The build quality is impressive. I really like the waterproof covering - inside and out. I simply toweled out the bit of moisture left after we used it and it had not absorbed any moisture at all. They also sent a generous amount of sealer for the zipper - I'm sure this is to allow a water-resistant zipper but it can also lubricate the zipper to keep it functioning as it should. It IS tight and not easily zipped or unzipped with one hand due to it needing to be a tight fit but it does operate smoothly, even it tight. I don't know if it would keep water from leaking out if tipped though, so I would use caution and make sure it is kept upright. I am not concerned about rain entering the cooler though as I think the zipper/lube combo will keep it adequately sealed up. Maybe not submersible sealed but certainly good enough for getting caught out in the rain with it.I am hoping for many good years of use as these are not inexpensive items. I will update my review if something goes wrong but I have received great service and response from Akaso in the past and am confident that if I had a problem they would help remedy it for me... they have always been super responsive to my emails and always responded to me very kindly and professionally.

Living in Miami my family goes to the beach quite often and no cooler seems to fit the bill like this one. Usually you are parking a long walk from either the beach itself or to your spot on the beach 100’s of yards away. Hard plastic coolers are awkward to carry and the ones with wheels either get sand in the wheels or simply don’t roll on the sand anyway so are effectively carry coolers that are big and heavy. I have tried many other soft side coolers but they generally have almost no insulation and are flimsy and also awkward to carry.AKASO Cooler is great for the beach! The backpack straps make it much more comfortable to carry over long distances. While it’s a soft side cooler it has thick walls with good insulation while still being light weight. It has multiple carry handles on the top and sides if you don’t want to wear it as a backpack. It has convenient zipper pouches to hold things like your wallet or money clip and a mesh pouch on the front to carry random things. The main zipper mechanism is far better than another brand I bought which I had to return as the zipper was so hard to use it broke the first day out. I wish other zippered items had the T-handle zipper slider that this has which is more convenient than the flat type. The interior is also better designed than other soft side coolers I have had as well. Most crease up at the bottom around the edges making it hard to clean whereas the AKASO Cooler has nice sturdy corners that don’t crease up.For a day at the beach you can fit 12 packs of bee….soda plus lunch inside with enough ice to keep things cold all day at the beach. And to top it off there is a built in bottle opener attached!I am very pleased with this purchase.

This is a pretty good cooler bag. I've used it for a week as a lunch box and it hasn't disappointed. Keeps my lunch and drinks cold all day. Here's my Pros and Cons:Pros:good sizekeeps food and drinks cold all dayeasy to cleannice handles on the sides, makes its easy to grab, don't always have to hold it by the shoulder strapgood thick adjustable shoulder strapseems durable (only time will tell)it has the most heavy duty zipper of any cooler bag I've ever owned.Cons:don't like the netting on top, just feels like it will rip easily, I think an actual pocket would be betternot a fan of the cinch string on the front, that space would be better utilized if it were an actual pocketthe zipper is not the easiest to unzip. I get that it is to keep it waterproof and leakproof so its not a deal breaker but it is a bit of a painAll in all I think it is a good bag and I will get plenty of use out of it. Probably will be my kayak cooler. I'm a fan of pockets so the more the better I think. Other similar cooler bags have a front pocket and a pocket on top. I haven't tested out how log it would keep ice or keep drinks cold but for my normal use it does the job.

I like the sleekness of this little cooler. So far, after 10 days of continuous use, it works well, kept my drinks cold and doesn’t leak. The inside lining is very smooth, easy to wipe clean. The zipper has a very nice seal, although that means the zipper is quite stiff and can be difficult to unzip especially around the corners (hence 4 stars). Maybe after some time, it will unzip smoothly. It did come with 2 tubes of zipper lubricant. I applied it, but I can’t tell if that is making a difference. I wish there were 2 zippers instead of just one, to have more opening/closing options. But maybe 2 zippers will leave a tiny gap that will let the cold escape. The top mesh pocket is nice to store small things. Overall, I really like the cooler. I don’t know if I would pay full price for it, though.
