Good quality brass pipes and collars
Theese brass radiator pipe covers by VANCOCO are really decent for the money and a good choice for any home with exposed radiator pipes. The collars not only add a touch of elegance with their antique style finish but also serve a practical purpose by concealing unsightly pipes, transforming them into seamless elements of your decor.Installation is straightforward, thanks to their 15×300mm size, making them compatible with most standard radiator pipes. The durable brass material ensures longevity, the attention to detail in the design adds a sophisticated flair to any room. They have a good weight to the pieces and these are clearly made with quality. They have definitely improved the look of my exposed pipes in the bathroom. I would definitely recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade.

Don’t buy if you require covers
These are 15mm in diameter so the same as a copper radiator pipe, meaning they don’t slide over like other pipe covers these need to be installed in first fix to actually work!

Quality good. Abysmal product description
The product description indicated this is a sleeve kit to enhance your radiator. Even the packaging is clearly marked as ‘Sleeve Kits’ (which in itself is wrong as it is only one kit - not kits, suitable for only one radiator). However, this is not a sleeve as one would expect from the description. It is the same diameter as the standard copper pipe used widely in the UK so it would be impossible to use as a ‘sleeve’. See the photo showing the diameter of the ‘sleeve’ is 15mm the same as standard copper pipe.Luckily, I happened to be installing a bathroom radiator and was able to use the supplied tubes instead of copper pipe to connect to the central heating system otherwise I would have been rejecting the ‘sleeves’.It’s a shame that a product that is good quality (and does enhance my radiator by replacing copper pipes with shiny tubes) has been let down by a wholly incorrect description that would persuade buyers to purchase the kit thinking they were genuine sleeves to fit over and hide ugly copper pipes which they are not.Post purchase note: The description has since been amended after it was received by me (2 Feb. 2024] to clarify that it is NOT a sleeve kit. However, it remains comparatively expensive.

High end "pipe" ends for a visual improvement
These were not what were expected. These were way more premium and came full boxed with individual packing spaces etcAs such these are called “sleeves” but these are actual 15mm brass feed pipes. Hence they do not sleeve over the standard 15mm UPVC/copper pipe they replace it. Connecting into either the compression/push-fit joint, or the solder/weld joint. Therefore, you will either need a plumber or plumbing experience to fit these beautiful pieces of brass. If you are willing to pay over £10 per 150mm of pipe then you will probably be getting a plumber to fit these and ideally one who works with aesthetics of a job and not just fitting.Very well engineered. Flawless and desirable.

A great idea if you want your radiators to look very high end.
This is a set of two very high quality radiator pipe covers and collars which I received in a vintage brass colour. They were much higher quality than I was expecting and really do make a basic radiator look high end. These would also be perfect if you have invested in a statement radiator and want to complete the look. Note that you need to saw these or use a pipe cutter - they are not the type that you can cut with ordinary scissors.

Metal pipe for radiator stump
Copper radiator pipes never look that good so this product is a great idea. You can buy plastic wrap around pipe covers to disguise the ugly pipe or you can buy this set of real metal, antique brushed brass stubs to connect from just below floor level into the radiator valve. I will be fitting these in the hall as soon as winter is over as it will need a drain down of the system to install but the look of the product is very good and clearly a high quality product rather than a plastic sleeve that wraps around the pipe.

This doesn't COVER the pipes - you have to have them fitted ...... more like a GILBER than Brass
So I like the colour of these pipes and collars - but its definitely more like a GILBER (Gold/Silver) than a brass and so if you are trying to match brass in your home then these may not be deep enough a colour for you as they are light, not that rich deep brass colour. Secondly, and this may just be me, but I expected these to be able to fit around the existing pipes to give them a cover and a jhuzz but no, they are solid pipes and you'd need to be a good DIYer or a plumber to fit them ...its not a quick push on effort. So all in all a bit disappointing as I thought I could use them to cover up old pipes, but no they are a solid fixed metal pipe with the collar that again needs to be fitted by someone who knows what they are doing (not me).

misleading product name
This product is not as described. Its listed a pipe covers but its not, its replacement for the copper pipes themselves so unless you want to get involved in plumbing, or pay someone, these are no good. That said, for what they actually care, bronze coloured replacement pipes, they are really good quality, I would certainly use them if thats what I had been after but in this case, it wasnt.
