This is delightful as it is so many toys in one! My son loves kinetic sand and it is included in here, albeit in small amounts. The amount is still enough to play with and keep him happy. I also appreciate that they thought of parents' sanity...and didn't include real sand which would spill everywhere, and need to be cleaned up!The dino figurines, the light up moon, and the paint can all be played with separately also. (I don't know necessarily that we will paint the moon, as the size of it means little hands will constantly be on it, and may rub the paint off). But we love that it's a mini moon for him to put on his table, and when we're all done playing with the individual toys, we can put them together for the cool terrarium to look at!My son is preschool aged, and this definitely needs parent supervision for the younger age groups. An awesome activity that can be reused many times, or substituted with your own toys.

This dinosaur terrarium project is sure to capture the imagination of your little dinosaur enthusiast.It is not difficult to create a cool looking dinosaur landscape and when your child adds the moon light on top, they are sure to be thrilled with what they have created.The moon is not real large as you can see by my picture, and it is fun to paint a colorful landscape with the paints included in this set. There is a switch on the underside that turns on the light.My 7-year-old grandson was so into it. He kept coming back to it all day and admiring his work.I am so happy with this kit and highly recommend it. It is so worth the joy and sense of accomplishment your child will feel when they see what they have created.

This is such a fun idea- this kit comes with everything you need to make a little dinosaur terrarium with a little moon lamp (which you can paint) on top. The terrarium comes with 2 colors of sand (the moldable kind), dinosaurs, moss, etc. I love that the pamphlet included has QR codes that give you ideas of how to set it up, as well as a direct way to message the makers of the product. This is such a fun craft. The moon light goes on the top and could be used as a little night light.

This terrarium is AWESOME! I love the presentation. Everything is neatly packaged and presentable. The paint colors are bright, and favorites of boys and girls so that’s a definite plus. The pricing is great for all of the quality items you get. This will be my “go to” kid’s gift. My favorite thing about this terrarium is there is “no wrong way” for the kids to paint and arrange their terrarium!I would also like to note the terrarium is not glass so no worries on shattering!!

This is a great creative activity, especially for a child who loves dinosaurs. I gave it to my almost 7 year old grandson last night and his mom reports that he put it together this morning. He was able to do every thing on his own. After assembly, he painted the moon and now has a new nightlight that he is very proud of.
