I collect vaseline glass, which is vintage to antique glass made with trace amounts of uranium in it. This allows it to glow brightly under blacklight. Having a good blacklight flashlight on me is integral to finding pieces when I go antiquing. This 365nm blacklight will also show items made with manganese so trace that it doesn't show under normal 385 -400nm blacklight. I quite like the size of this light. It's about as long as my cell phone, and lightweight. It will fit into any purse I happen to be using.The white light is quite bright and makes a good all around flashlight. The yellow light is decidedly yellow, not just a warm white. I am unsure what I was looking for in shining it into my little Jade Bear, but you can see the inner structure of the Jade (and my thumb) quite well.The carved metal case gives it a unique steampunk look, and the little focusing tip was easy to screw onto both the end of the flashlight and back onto the storage dongle. The battery already had a partial charge, and the charger is included. There is a strong petroleum smell when you open the plastic storage box, but many metal things ship with a light coating of oil to prevent rust, so it's not completely unexpected. And it cleans off easily.I'm quite pleased overall with this light; the lights are bright, the focus tip screws on securely to both the light and the storage dongle, and it's rechargeable with a long battery life. It has a unique steampunk look to it, and it is a nice size. Oh, and a great price!

This is a great light for identifying gemstones. I shop for rocks/stones all the time and this helps identify the fakes vs. the real ones. The weight of this is decently hefty, so it is a solid light. It doesn't feel like a cheap piece of equipment in your hand. I'm glad I ordered it.

I use this light on my crystals to view clarity. It comes with a plastic shell carrying case that is lined with foam to protect the light. The tip of the light screws off for a wider output of light or can be screwed on to view a precise area of your stone. It comes with its own rechargeable battery PLUS the charger that charges the battery itself that can be connected to a usb plug. The light emits a yellow light with one click and a black light with a double click. I recommend for crystal and stone owners to be able to rate your stones clarity and value.

I wanted to get this because I collect old jewelry and crystals. I always wondered if the ones I had were real and this helps me to determine that. The different colors show through the jade and let you see the structures of your stones. It was way bigger than I thought it was going to be which was a good thing. I like that its able to help you determine if you have a real quality stone or not. You can also use it on money and see if its real or fake. Pretty hefty and cool device.

I ordered this light for it unique look there is no doubt about that. The light has a primitive tribal vibe in my opinion, yet it contains a state of the art led 3 channel light system controlled by a clickable tail switch based UI and has a rechargeable 21700 lithium ion power cell recharge with and included electronically controlled high capacity charger. The light features clean white OTF output on one channel. A tinted LED on the second channel and a concentrated UV channel as well making this light as useful as it is interesting to look at.

The flashlight works as expected. The lights are very strong. Haven’t found jade yet, but works well for with agates. The removable tip is nice to focus the light. The tip has rubber gaskets that hold it in place. Right now, it feels like the hold is pretty secure but I am concerned that repeated on and off will wear those down. Has good weight to it. Looks interesting, like I’m carrying an ancient artifact. Has a rechargeable battery (install it negative end down). The charger is easy to operate. The storage case is secure but seems a bit thin.

Easy to set up and use. Pretty bright when it's fully charged. A little bit heavy. Nice looking design, a little uncomfortable hold. Overall good.Would buy again.
