INOKIMOX Hero Electric Scooter

I am deeply disappointed with the scooter that was sent to me because it does not meet all the features advertised. Trusting that the designer of this scooter is an Israeli, I thought it would be well-backed and satisfactory. I am disappointed.The following is an evaluation of the Range, Speed, Battery, Lights, and Design of the INOKIM OX Hero Electric Scooter.Initially, the product arrived on time, and the design matches the image. Visually, the materials are good, the tires look durable and resistant, almost like those of a car, meaning they are made of good rubber.1. On Amazon.com, it says that the maximum speed is 27.9 mph (and it’s stated on the purchase invoice), but the maximum speed I reached is 15 mph. (My weight is 144 pounds.)2. The range is 36 miles.3. For the price of this scooter (mid-range), the display is very limited and user-unfriendly, in addition to being very small compared to other brands with similar prices.4. The charging connector is very close to the foot, so the cover easily moves, leaving the connection terminals exposed to the elements and water. I had to place adhesive tape on it.5. The adhesive label with the name "Land Surfer" is partially peeling off, as if it didn’t have enough glue.6. The lights do not illuminate enough at night, making night rides unsafe as people in cars or other vehicles cannot see the scooter from a distance.7. I find it serious that Amazon advertises this product with Free Shipping but charged me $40 for shipping. It feels like a rip-off.8. It heats up quite a lot on the top part where the charging connector is, even after just 3 miles of travel. I worry about longer distances.I truly want a scooter that matches the features for the price I paid of $982, and not one that seems to be of a low-end price ($450).

Honest review. I've gone through 2 other scooters already by making the mistake of choosing scooters they didn't have replacement parts like this company does. Battery lasts MAYBE 25 miles so don't let them fool you but all companies claim 2x the realistic mileage. Unless your going 1st gear and weigh 100lbs don't expect more than 25 per charge. Regardless it's a high quality scooter and the company actually sells replacement parts which is huge for me. It's well built and got the price point it's one of the better options out there. I wouldn't really spend less than this but spending more is unnecessary.

Looked well built but it was unsafe to ride, throttle sticks wide open. It only goes 13 mph not 27.9 mph. The description in the picture says 60 mile range and the more info says 32 miles. Don't waste your hard earned money

While I have not purchased this scooter on Amazon, I have bought this from the Inokim official website, last year.The build quality is unique for sure, the speed is okay, and the range is also okay.For those of you wondering why it goes 15mph, you have to remove the speed limiter, then you should get 27mph.Starting from the top, I don’t really like the screen, it’s pretty small, a bit tricky to read during the day too. I do like the thumb throttle attached to it tho, it’s responsive, comfortable, and no dead zone. The handlebars are pretty average, I did end up replacing them with folding handlebars, which worked out great.The breaks are just your average disk breaks, they do get that classic squeak after a bit, just readjust the caliper and usually that fixes that issue. The stem is very unique, feels very sturdy.The folding mechanism is pretty fast and safe, but I have gotten it stuck before.The deck I wish had a rubber pad for better grip. (this new updated model does so that’s good) The suspension was super stiff for me, but keep in mind I am only a 130lbs rider. The tires I actually thought were decent, but I got a flat within the first few weeks of riding, and that never happens. I replaced it with a solid tire, worked well, but had some traction loss, as expected.Overall I definitely would like to see an easier to read display screen, a hydraulic break option, and tubeless tires to prevent pinch flats.Can’t really complain about the speed and range, because they do have a bigger battery option, and a dual motor version as well.Overall I liked most of what this unique scooter had to offer. Good value for money.

The folding clamp is very weak. It starts only by walking. It is risky. You can have an accident and apart from that the company does not respond for the product. They say that it does not cover it. The warranty is super expensive.
