I used these in an autistic support classroom when implementing an action research project. The students came to truly enjoy the movements and actually asked for yoga time each day. We used yoga mats, dimmed the lights, and had a set of cards for each student that had a one-to-one. These were originally intended to be used for 6 weeks but we ended up doing the routine daily through the end of the year. These will be used again in the upcoming school year.

My son gets pretty worked up in school and the teachers suggested Yoga to help him calm down and focus. The DVDs I bought are slow going since he doesn't want to sit through too much at once (and he doesn't feel like he knows it well enough to do it "right".) These cards are easy to use and I can do a single pose or breath at a time. He doesn't feel pressure to keep up and move from one pose to the next quickly. As he gets used to the poses, hopefully he can remember them when he's having a tough time in school and take a breath!

I have used these cards for 2 years now with my first graders. We put them on a bulletin board as we learn the techniques. I am amazed at how well they work for my students! I have seen students using them independently, and it has really helped keep a calm, mindful atmosphere in the classroom. I highly recommend these for anyone who is looking for a way to teach self-awareness and mindfulness, as well as reduce anxiety in students.

Love these! Such an easy way to bring mindfulness and yoga into the classroom. There are many things you can do without yoga mats so they are convenient and quick. Kids love when I show them a new card and there are plenty!

Yoga 4 classrooms activity card deck is a great way to introduce kids to yoga. I bought the cards and I took the course offered by a Yoga 4 classrooms certified instructor. In addition, I bought Lisa Flynn's book, Yoga for Children. They were all great investment purchases. I highly recommend for I use these products in my counseling practice with elementary school-aged children.

Great addition to my second grade classroom. I was fortunate to attend the Yoga for Classrooms teacher training so I feel fully prepared to utilize this great resource. The activities, meditations, and breathing exercises are well planned and perfectly explained. My students will love this and I will be able to use it for years to come.

So far I like what I see. I have not had a chance to put them practice with my 7 year old. I laminated the cards first to make sure they will last a long time. I am looking forward to using them and teaching my daughter about Yoga.
