I have a non-spa bathtub. If you are talking about a spa bathtub I would say yes but if your are talking about a hot tub spa I would say no because there are oils in this product.

Q: What does this smell like? It doesn't really specify. I would love to purchase, but I dislike that beachy yankee candle smell.

It smells nothing like Yankee candles. The scent is close to a mineral spa smell, almost close to a tea tree/patchouli/sandalwood smell, very relaxing and therapeutic. Also, the scent is the very same, formula has never changed. You will love it!

Yes mine was wrapped in plastic and paper seal on Under lid
