You might cry
There were many moments in this book where my emotion was high. Whether that he feeling irate at unpredictable predictability that was Grayson, frequently frustrated by Cammie’s varied degrees of immaturity, or by the deeply heartfelt struggle that sat beneath Cammie’s confidence and sass. She was young in mind and actions. Often. Yet…I kept reading. Because I wanted her to find her place in a world that had knocked her down for years. I wanted her to find joy for herself. And love. And that is the power of R.S Grey’s storytelling. Entrancing a reader despite a mercurial hero and a bratty heroine. And I don’t mean that in a nasty sense, believe me. That’s who the characters were. And there was little explanation or justification for the horrendous way Grayson treated Cammie, especially with Nicole.Again, yet, I read on.My heart was pulled in many directions, tears left my eyes in both pain and joy. I was addicted and had to read to the end. Despite their flaws, I melted, wanting their HEA desperately. There are a number of ways this book could have been a five-star-review book. But essentially it felt undeveloped. Editing errors abounded, but I wanted more explanation rather than a quick ending. More dialogue that helped readers understand our hero. But I am a super fussy reader.R.S Grey is still an exceptional storyteller whose books I’ll continue to devour. This is still a book I’d thoroughly recommend, especially if you’re a reader who loves emotional tussles. But you might cry.

Fun read
4-4.5 stars. Cammie and Grayson's story was so much fun to read, maybe even more so than The Duet, although I loved Cammie and Grayson just as much as I did Brooklyn and Jason. Cammie is interviewing at Grayson's architecture firm for a position and although she gets the job, that doesn't mean she and Grayson are automatic BFFs. Cammie doesn't know why Grayson is so distant and cold to her after all these years but she's attracted to him nonetheless. It was already obvious from The Duet that Cammie has a great sense of humor, works hard and enjoys challenges. To her, Grayson is a challenge on top of the underlying chemistry. Cammie is very driven, too, she has a plan that she wants to stick with and this new job is a stepping stone towards that plan. Grayson seems harsh towards Cammie, but again, knowing him from the The Duet, he's a caring and considerate friend to Brooklyn and he has no problems with being honest. This isn't just an employee/boss romance, because Cammie and Grayson do have a history and Cammie isn't working directly with Grayson most of the time. To me, Cammie might have been motivated, but she also came off a little scattered and lost at times, partially due to the fact that Brooklyn has always been her support system and Cammie is eager to spread her wings and fly solo...hence, the plan. I thought Grayson would be the sort of guy to put Cammie off as long as possible and not break the rules ever, but Grayson surprised me with himself. Once he makes up his mind about something, he is in it 100%. I had wished that The Duet had more of Brooklyn and Jason after the Grammy awards and there was definitely glimpses of that in The Design. There's a party towards the end of the book for a special occasion and I was laughing out loud at the dialogue between Cammie and Grayson because the stuff they were saying was priceless as veiled insults towards one another. Grayson might have ignored Cammie for all those years, but that didn't mean he wasn't thinking about her from afar and Cammie was just so determined to be independent that she didn't realize she might have everything she needed at home, right where she was. Definitely an entertaining read.

Hilarious, Witty and all around AMAZING!!
The Heart sisters are back and just as hilarious, sassy, and endearing as they were in The Heart sisters are back and just as hilarious, sassy, and endearing as they were in The Duet! I was BLESSED to be able to read The Design early for the chance to review, after anxiously waiting to hear Cammie and Grayson's story I was so not disappointed!!Cammie is the sister we all want - spit fire multiplied by 100, determined, adorable and hilarious. She doesn't stand down from a challenge, she in no way backs down from pursuing what she wants, but at the same time she's vulnerable and sweet. When all is said and done, Cammie is just a sweetheart who I can say without a doubt in my mind I would want on my side. Not just because she has the most hilarious pranks, but because she's cool.Grayson is moody, broody, sex-on-a-stick in a suit and is just as determined as Cammie is, only his determination is definitely a problem for Cammie. But he, too, has this vulnerable side to him. He has a weakness - and Cammie is going to expose that weakness of it kills her.Grayson and Cammie have such great chemistry together - whether he wants to admit it or not! For Cammie, Grayson is far from just a challenge. For Grayson, Cammie is Brooklyn's little sister but so much more than that. Grayson may be hot and cold towards her, but we learn he has reasons for that. I loved their banter and dialogue, and the incredible situations Cammie would find herself in had me laughing so hard throughout the entire book. Then I would be smiling at the next situation, then tearing up. It is quite the experience to read a book you can cry, laugh & just simply smile while reading. I loved that Cammie was REAL. And in turn, so was Grayson.Oh! And we get more Brooklyn and Jason! I LOVED getting an update on their lives.Somehow I fell harder for RS Grey in The Design. I probably say that with every review I write for her, but it's true. Her genuine humor, her kindness, and her characters in a story just suck me in deep. I fall hard for them every single time (in fact, I fell HARD for Jason all over again in The Design). Her ability to create such a depth of character, so we feel their pain, feel their love and joy is what makes her such an incredible writer and I love that she shares that talent with us.Congratulations on a great novel, RS Grey! Five stars - would give so many more if I could! Duet! I was BLESSED to be able to read The Design early for the chance to review, after anxiously waiting to hear Cammie and Grayson's story I was so not disappointed!!

Nervous yet adorable heroine
Great book, it's only fault it's that it has too much of a domestic ending. You'd think that with such a crazy main character, they'd find a way to get her to keep her essence on everything.

A great read!
This novel was fun, funny, and sexy!Cammie has been pretty much raised by her older sister, Brooklyn, ever since their parents died when she was about 10. She went through a wild patch until she meets Grayson, an up-and-coming architect and great friend of Brooklyn’s, who inspires her ambition to be an architect herself.Grayson has always been attracted to Cammie – but the age difference, and the fact that she was really young when he first met her, has meant that she was off limits to him. A heart-to-heart conversation with Brooklyn, one night, ends up with Grayson being determined to help Cammie out any way he can, but without her knowledge. It also meant that he had to bury his attraction to her and pretend to despise her. After many years of being treated coldly and humiliated by Grayson, Cammie is stunned when he tells her that she has an interview at his architectural firm. The interview with Grayson revealed one vital secret that sets the tone for the rest of the novel.Cammie is gutsy and confident, and has a plan to disappear off to Paris in a few months and live independently. I’ve got to say she came across as a bit childish at times and I couldn’t understand how she could be intimidated by Grayson, one minute, and then brazenly pursue him, the next. Until you realise how stubborn and goal-oriented she is, and also that underneath her veneer, she is trying to find her place in the world, where she is just herself and not Brooklyn’s little sister to be looked after and molly-coddled.Grayson has immense willpower! But, seeing Cammie every day and being confronted with her requited desire for him really tests his patience and resolve. As the story evolves, some shocking revelations come to light that causes Cammie to question everything about her life and her talent. This is a great read with a great ending.

4.5 enjoyable stars
This was a really good read.....I've just finished this and I have a really big smile on my face!Cammie was a great character. I loved her sarcastic humour but mostly, I loved how strong she was even when she believed she wasn't.The dialogue between her and her sister were some of the highlights for me.This is written in Cammie's POV and I have to say I have a preference for dual POV. All the way through this I would have loved to have read about Greyson's thoughts and feelings. I would have also liked a few more scenes between Cammie and Greyson where they connected on a more emotional level. That being said, this was an enjoyable read that was funny at times as well as emotional. If your looking for a light romance with a HEA, then I wouldn't hesitate in one clicking this. 4.5 enjoyable stars

A great read
A great storyline, very funny, romantic love story with Grayson and Cammie, Cammie having a crush on her sisters friend Grayson since she was a teenager and finding out that when her sister got Grayson to interview her for a job in his Architectural firm, he said he had feelings for her but couldnt do anything about it as she was his employee, then it was game on. A lot of drama along the way. Worth the read
