Amazon Essentials Men's Regular-Fit Short-Sleeve Crewneck T-Shirt, Pack of 2

Need a basic burgundy t-shirt for my husband to wear for family pictures. Wasn't too worried about quality as it was going to be underneath the button-down shirt and only showing at the neck anyway. So I ordered this set of two (better price than buying just one from another manufacturer) not expecting much. Turned out to be a nice weight of fabric, deep rich color, and a good fit. Maybe a little on the short side - it only just hit my husband's waist, barely able to tuck in his jeans, and he is shorter than average with shorter torso. Length is okay if you are layering and have another shirt to help keep it tucked, but if you are wearing just the t-shirt and have a longer torso, it may be more like a crop top. :)

Based on the Amazon reviews, I went up one size when I purchased these T-shirts, and I'm very happy with them as a result. Several folks had complained that they ran short in the torso. I hate that, so I ordered the next size up, and I'm so happy with them. They're nice and cottony thick, really comfortable, and they fit really well even after throwing them in the dryer a couple of times (I usually hang my clothes up to dry, but they got missed when my son combined his laundry with mine, and they ended up in the dryer). They are a really good deal for the money. I couldn't be happier with them! (Always love getting a good deal!)

I bought these as I really like my t-shirts to breath and avoid anything that isn't 100% cotton. The cotton seems to be of a high quality. The short sleeves are a little longer than most t-shirts (which I like and one of the things that attracted me to these). I do find that the neck is a little tight and could maybe be a little wider. They do shrink a little after washing of course. Subjectively, I don't know if these "breathe" as much as I would have expected.

Soft, well made and color is great. Nice fit, true to size.

The size chart indicated that a Medium would fit me even though I typically wear Large. When brand new, the Medium did fit me well. After the first wash in warm water, the shirt shrank to a point where it was too tight. I then bought a size Large. When new, it fit me. But it was only slightly looser than the medium. After the first warm wash, this shirt also shrunk to where it is almost too small. I hung the Med and Large shirts on clothes hangers...next to each other. The "Shoulder width" of the Med and Large shirts are almost identical (after 1 wash). I might try an X-large, but a Large should have worked me. I suggest you buy 1 size larger than usual. Otherwise, it seems to be of good quality.Update: The material is not particularly comfortable. Even after using fabric softener, it does not feel soft. The price is great. But the uneven sizing and lack of comfort have changed my opinion.

It's hard to find shirts that are both thick and soft at the same time, so these were surprisingly great. They do fit as expected, but run a little bit small. I got an xxl, but I would not recommend drying it much if you want it to fit after washing. Used to with a sublimation printer and the image is still holding up perfectly after a couple of washes. Quality is just as great if not better than the usual brands that you find out there.

I have found the perfect Men’s Large T-shirt; Amazon Essentials. I purchased two types of Gildean T-shirts along with the Amazon Essential to compete for the best T-shirt, well Amazon Essential wins. Perfect weight, size, length, neck (crew), and price. These can be worn as undershirts or alone. Love them. Buying more now.

I was looking for a relatively cheap white t-shirt that was 100 % cotton and this T-shirt was a good price. Not the best quality, but very good for the price. If you want better quality, you would definitely have to pay more, but this T-shirt is ideal for what I want them for as a work shirt, not for dress or anything special. Would recommend this purchase and they fit very well.
