Compact and comfortable, looks great
I've been a big fan of Pearl Izumi cycling gear for many years, and this vest does nothing to damage my impression of the brand. The fit is perfect. This is just the piece of kit you need for those early morning rides in the fall or spring, when it's chilly at the outset but quickly warms up as the sun climbs and the effort increases. This vest rolls up to almost nothing and is easy to slip into a jersey pocket or frame bag. Get this vest!

Good in light rain!
This rain vest is very good at repelling light rain. It is somewhat breathable and extremely thin and lightweight. It's small enough to roll up and fit in the back pocket of a jersey. It won't take much room if put into a bike bag. It is form fitting, and it has a full zip in the front. The vest has some perforation in the upper back part of the vest. This can help with regulating heat. The vest isn't as breathable as a jersey because of water repelling materials used. So, there will be more heat retained. It is thin, however. It might tear easily. It is somewhat fibrous, so it might be able to prevent a hole from getting larger.I like that this vest is small and lightweight. It's really not a hassle to take with in case of rain. I wouldn't use it in heavy rain. It probably won't be much help in that situation. It does a good job in light rain though. I think it is made well and has quality in construction. Recommended!

Good fit and lightweight
Nice fit and also lightweight. I've been keeping it in my bag for just in case moments.

Thin plastic vest
I am a bit skeptical that this vest will last very long, as it is very thin and reminds me of a black garbage bag. Cannot say that I am very impressed.

Extremely light Weight and effective!
WOW! This vest is very light weight! and also can be tucked away very easily into a jersey pocket. I like to use this in the early Spring on my morning rides. It helps block out the wind and keeps me slightly warmer than without it. It's not a full on parka or winter vest obviously, but it does help block out some of the cold. Which is great...and has little to zero effect on performance with the bike. It's main job is to help keep water off during light rain storms...or at least that is the main reason I got this. I would say it isn't 100% water proof. But it keeps you relatively dry. Like I said, it is an additional barrier against the wind and rain. Works pretty good. My only complaint would be in the cost. The price is very high. Not quite sure what the justification is for that. Especially when there are other less expensive options available. But aside from that, it is a great vest! Very compact, easy to store, and very effective against the elements, and EXTREEMLY light weight! But you have to pay the price.

Super packable
Super lightweight and comfortable. It’s great to pack on a bike ride or hike when you need just a bit of a wind break or warmth in your core. Thin and lightweight, but holds heat and keeps out light rain well.

Barrier vest repellent water
The zipper is great to use it's top and bottom so it can opened from either side. The comfort is great with this vest. The only downside is that it doesn't have pockets. The quality seems to be rather great for the recycled polyester being eco friendly. The fit is great is nice it's not too tight or too loose. You should order the size that fits you best.
