Surprising quality at a bargain price
Pros:o Well cut puzzle, almost zero false fitso Minimal to zero puzzle dusto Excellent giant poster for referenceo Like the artworkCons:o Box is too small for the poster printWeirds:o Cheat code on back of pieceso Brand name: TaroKitcI bought this puzzle after being happy with another TaroKitc jigsaw, and was happy to see the first one wasn't a fluke. With an unknown manufacturer, you don't know for sure what to expect, but this puzzle is of the quality I expect from the top cardboard puzzle makers.First things first, you know how annoying it is when two pieces of a puzzle kind of fit together, but you're not sure? I think this is what experienced puzzle makers avoid when they design the cut, and cheap puzzles have false fits galore. I think I had maybe 3 or 4 false fits here, and they were just as much my fault as the puzzel's. Avoiding those false fits is really something that contributes to the enjoyment of the solve. The poster that comes inside is *giant*, and that's nice, and of course it is properly framed and formatted to exactly match the puzzle you are solving. This is another place where off brand puzzles fall short - sometimes you don't get a proper reference to what you were solving.TaroKitc does one weird thing - each piece has a cheat code on the back, with a letter. I think they break the puzzle down into maybe 12 sections, and each letter corresponds to a section. Why would you ever use this? This Animal Kingdom puzzle was pretty tough - an awful lot of brownish pieces with no particular distinguishing characgteristics. A good challenge.I recently bought another puzzle that was very similar to this one, both in quality and even including the cheat codes on the back. That puzzle had one problem: after finishing it I found it very difficult to break apart, and ended up damaging quite a few pieces. This puzzle thankfully did not have that problem, the pieces snap together snugly but taking them apart is no big deal.Hihgly recommended!--------I'm honored to be included in the Amazon Vine program, and I work really hard to make these reviews and videos helpful. I put in a lot of effort to try to help you learn the most important facts about the product. Good luck with your decision, and if you do decide to buy the product, I hope the things you find in this review make it easier to use.

Surprising high quality, choose-your-own-difficulty
This particular image as a puzzle has some nostalgic value to me, so I was very thrilled to find it! As such, I am extremely happy that this puzzle is of such great quality. The image is printed at extremely high resolution, you can barely see the printing artifacts if you photograph it and zoom way in. I can't see it at all with my eyes in person. The pieces themselves are also very high quality, and the cuts between the pieces have no gaps to speak of. Tight fits! There are a couple features that can be used to make the puzzle easier to put together if you so choose. I'm personally putting it together without those features, so they're really not forced on you if you don't want to use them:-On the back there are letters which divides the puzzle up into 8 sections, allowing you to put the puzzle together in much smaller regions. The letters also assist in orientation of the pieces so you know which direction is up. While it take a little willpower to not look at the backs of the pieces for the assistance, it's easy enough not to use it if you don't want the assistance.-There's also a 1:1 sized poster which you can build the puzzle on top of if you wish, making it much easier to locate where pieces go. While I'm not building the puzzle on top of the poster, I am using it as my primary reference as the top of the box has some places covered up, and is a little small. So either way it's a very nice thing to have.I really do like the above features just in case there may be a time where I have family over for a shorter time where we might not have the time to build the puzzle without the assistance. This will greatly reduce the time for putting the puzzle together with family when time may be too short otherwise.

I love this puzzle
The first thing about this puzzle is it’s got a glossy feel. More like the pieces are coated in a plastic rather than the wooden/cardboard feel that most puzzles have. For me, this makes it really awesome, as I have cats and they’ve already tried to chew up some of the pieces as I am working on the puzzle. The downside is that the puzzle glue has a hard time sticking, but the glue sheets they’ve recently come out with work really well.Another note, is the back has letters on it. A through h, which corresponds to one of the 8 sections the puzzle has. All of the As go together, all of the Bs - so on and so forth. This makes it nice when you think a puzzle piece goes somewhere, but you’re not sure, so you can flip over the pieces and see if the letters line up. Or you can simply use it to cheat your way through the puzzle by sorting the letters into specific sections - keeping in mind that a-d is one row and e-h are the second row so there will be over laps between a and b, as well as a and e.This may make people want to stay away from this puzzle if they like the skill that is required to put puzzles together.

Challenging!
This puzzle was challenging because of the subtle texture and color changes. The full size poster is useful, as is the section coding (letters) on the backs of the pieces. The poster had greater clarity/image quality than the pieces themselves and some of the colors were slightly different between the poster and the pieces. The pieces are well made, sturdy, and most fit together uniquely enough that you can easily tell when you're wrong. Pleasantly, there was no puzzle dust! One thing I noticed while working on the puzzle is that the highlights on the art made the candy look wet and slimy. After a while, some parts of the puzzle seemed reminiscent of brain matter or intestine--a bit gross.Overall, fun challenging puzzle!
