Good quality cabling and crimping tool make the job easy. Recommend using a sharp scalpel blade, rather than the wire cutter that comes with this kit, to remove insulation from the braided wire.

This kit has some usable tools. the cutters are massive, they look like they're for battery cable cutting. The crimpers appear to be a decent quality hex type of crimper. CCA wire is the cheapest wire you can get and also not as efficient as just plain copper. Typically when using CCA I will order one size bigger to have the same amount of current. This kit comes with 8 gauge wire that would be roughly equivelant to 10 guage copper wire. This wire in this kit is just not big enough to make battery cables. Maybe they would work for motorcycles. You could power an amp though, if you're into that sort of thing. When you like to show off how big your monster cable is powering your amp, that is where CCA works the best.

PROS: Nice kit for fast repairs for add on current feeds, vary flexible well insulated color coded wire, includes various well marked crimp on eyelets, cutter, and crimping tool. CONS: Not solid copper, red, but, no black wire (black is normally ground, not brown, but whatever), not so easy to solder (plan on crimping only), cutter works but has cheap rough machined surfaces, crimper works, but, adjustable crimps don't align perfectly and tool probably won't hold up to daily use (but will certainly work for all the parts included, eyelet inputs seems a bit oversized for the wire which seems a bit undersized for 8 gauge. Overall good value and gets the job done.
