I've had original egg beater pedals for years, pair that I used on all My bikes mountain bikes and road bikes. Then I got a pair of the platform pedals from egg beater which I find a little bit hard to get into. The candy 2 pedals are the best of all even easier to get into than the egg beaters and release the same. With all these pedals you have to take the time to get them right turn the cleats to the position where you can get out put shims as in the instructions until you get get everything dialed. But then they're great I like them better than the Shimano style which I could never really get used to

These are my first clipless pedals and are amazing since the first ride. I lost my fear about being clipped to my bike and yes, I got a dumb fall at the very beginning but then, practicing just one ride I was confortable and locked ready to ride a lot of miles.The size is perfect and the grip is amazing, doing bunny hops and technical parts clipped is another word.

These pedals are all I've ever used. Love them. I've had several pairs, all have done the job and lasted a good while.

I’ve used CB Candy pedals for nearly 20 years now. Why would anyone use anything else?? This particular set is lighter than some of their more expensive models and work flawlessly. I still have a pair of Candy C pedals from 10 years ago that work well. CB Candy pedals are the easiest pedals to clip in to and mindlessly east to unclip from even in a millisecond. However, I never come unclipped when I need to stay clipped in. As long as your brain is able to process that unclipping is a process of slightly twisting your heel away from the bike while simultaneously stepping out and down, you cannot go wrong. If you expect to unclip by just trying to slide your entire foot sideways, you’re going down. Like I said, I’ve been riding with these for a very long time so it’s second nature. There’s zero reason any rider can’t use these. They perform flawlessly, year after year.

These pedals are bombproof have around 1200 miles on them.

I am a new rider and occasionally ride without shoes or bike shorts, as a matter of convenience. Great product
