I had been looking for a muzzle. I need to put a spray medicine on my dog daily and he is not compliant - I wanted to assure there would not be any incident. I measured and ordered the XL It wasn't exactly the right size and he kept pawing at it to get it off even though I had completed the suggested training. As a result, I had a couple of email interchanges with LePark to determine what size we needed to be using. They graciously helped me find the right size and even did not charge for the replacement. They offered to allow me to donate the one that is too big, so when I am able to get out again, it will go to our humane society. I am extremely pleased with the way the muzzle fits, the comfort level our dog has with it and the ease of getting it on. The adjustments are all in just the right places to get just the right fit. I rated the durability 5 stars even though I haven't used it for very long, but it seems to be well constructed and looks as though it will last a long time. I bought the large size and it fit my 6 month old German shepherdMy 6 month old German shepherd barked and the muzzle just came off. She did not paw at it once. She just barked. There is no thickness at the end of the straps to hold them in place or to make them stay in the buckle so it just falls apart. The quality looks great and I'm sure it would last a while but it needs something to hold the straps together. She got it off 3 times on a 5 minute walk just by barking and moving her head. Do not recommend until they fix the product to not come undone

I thought that this muzzle would be perfect I carefully measured my dogs mouth and was ready to try it. When i received it, it was too large despite my careful measuring. I sent messages to the email address enclosed for customer service, but never got any response so the muzzle is worthless to me. my dog required an xxl by their measurements, but it slipped off and she tore it up day 1. UPDATE: was contacted by customer service and they sent me the correct sized muzzle at no charge. It is PERFECT I use a cage muzzle on her when I have to, but this is VERY convenient and handy for other times as well. It is very durable and very nicely made. Thank you for the great customer service. We WILL be back

My dog had neck surgery and needed a cone 24/7 for a minimum of 4 weeks. Try walking a large dog with a cone and you cannot have any type of standard leash. So I found this one which does not touch his neck below the ears. The only issue is the nose wrap strap is too short to stay connected all the time. My dog is able to open the nose guard when he is in the back sit of the car.Bottom Line - I would buy this device again because it definitely accomplished keeping the leash / collar from touching the surgery points and my dog can small the roses again while on a walk.FYI - I still have to place the cone back on him when we return from our walk. But he is sooo happy after our walk....

So our dog is pretty darn well behaved but if we leave him behind to hang out in the house, he tends to get pretty upset that we are gone. We have another dog that is a black lab but she doesn’t chew things up. We don’t really like to separate them, but I have had to in the past just to make sure the house doesn’t get wrecked.So I decided to buy one of these muzzles and try it out. At night time it seemed to work all right because they were just sleeping. If we needed to use it during the day at all, he would just try to take it off and was successful after two weeks of getting used to it.It got to the point where he was able to take it off and totally chew off the parts that connect. Basically destroyed it. On the plus side, we were able to get our money back.I definitely don’t suggest this muzzle or anything similar of this type for these types of dogs.

I have a pit bull and she barks a lot at strangers or someone she hasn’t seen for awhile and she loves to go after the chickens and ducks.To prevent her from barking and potentially biting anyone or any other animals…I got her this one, after reading through hundreds of reviews & skimming through all the muzzles available.At first, she didn’t like it blc it’s something new and she would scrape it against the pavement to try to take it off but after awhile, she got used to it. She knows to keep it on if she wants to go outside the house where there are other people around.The best thing about this muzzle is, she can eat and drink without any problem, it’s sturdy with an adjustable strap made of strong material that doesn’t come off easily. Is she’s determined to take it off, it still takes her at least 2 hours of constant pulling and scraping against the ground before she can get the strap to become completely untie.Great investment and it works!!!

This product is finicky Dog Approved.We use muzzles in public because our state laws require that a dog be euthanized if it bites someone. Bite could mean "nip" too! So we muzzle to save our dear companion's life actually!! There are folks that will aggravate to bring about the ability to enforce such law just for the mick of it. Sadly, it's true.My service companion does not like muzzles in general but she approves of this one. I will say that it helps by making the dog look more formidable which keeps strangers at bay.I will suggest ordering by the size chart as the seller outlines. Don't guess. Measure. And if your between two sizes, order the larger of the two.Great product!

I was quite excited to get this product as I have been looking for a lighter muzzle for quite sometime... my dig isn't too destructive but sometimes barks very loudly when he sees other dogs (he is a rescue). This led to a complaint in my building. I have been using a slightly tougher muzzle as it was the first one I found but was hoping to give him a lighter one. He managed to chew it off in an instant! The buckles are not very sturdy. The sizing is accurate though.
