I am so impressed with this mattress. We just moved internationally and left our old tradition spring mattresses behind, it was simply not worth the cost of moving it. I decided to purchase the sweetnight because of cost and convenience, I ordered two, so they would arrive on the day of my arrival to an empty house, how Convenient! (my move will arrive in 45 days by maritime container). I was blown away with the quality of the product and better yet the quality of my sleep!!! Granted we were exhausted but the consensus was unanimous in the house. My two kids slept in one mattress and my husband and I on the other, we all loved it. I could not wait the 72 hours, we slept on them after 10 hours of opening... I can’t attest for the longevity of the product, but a week in and I couldn’t be happier. I’m never going back to spring mattresses again.UPDATE:5 months in and this mattress still gets 5 stars from me. We ended up purchasing one more soon after initial purchase for my son, we now have 3 of these and everyone loves them. I have had several guests sleep on them and they’re blown away too.I have dropped thousands upon thousands of dollars on a single spring mattress before, you know when you walk into a mattress store and haven’t a clue so you buy the third most expensive one in the joint thinking higher cost , higher quality. That was me . Don’t get me wrong, I liked my old mattress, got 7 reasonably good years on it, but memory foam is much much better. I like a soft , luscious feel , my husband prefers a firmer bed. On a regular spring , we always had to compromise. Somehow, this memory foam gives me the soft , supple feel I like and the support my husband likes. It’s amazing. I reiterate my earlier statement, I’m never going back to a spring mattress.

I waited several months to review this so I could really get a sense of whether I liked it or not. My husband and I researched for 6 months when it was time to replace our old bed (a high-end, expensive Stearns & Foster from a local furniture store). I poured over reviews and only wound up more confused. Most sites that review mattresses are paid endorsements and it's hard to get the "real" scoop on mattresses. Plus people have such different tastes as far as firmness levels. Do you spend a lot of money on a mattress knowing you use it every single night? Do you spend less, and plan on replacing it more often so you don't have to deal with sagging? Memory foam? Hybrid? Old-school springs? So many decisions!I really liked that this one can be flipped. Most memory foam mattresses are one-side only. And I know that they all claim you don't have to rotate them any more, but I just don't agree. I love that this can be rotated and flipped, and we do both.One side is firm, and one side is soft. To me, they are both too firm, but my husband likes the "soft" side just fine. We do use a mattress topper to make it soft enough for me, but considering the price of this mattress and the topper, it is still far, far below the price point of any other mattress we considered.We use it with a lucid adjustable bed frame also purchased on Amazon and it works great.It took some time to expand (24 full hours), but it did fully expand to 12 inches.My husband and I are both very happy, and I would say that we are mattress snobs. We typically hate hotel mattresses, and when we travel mattress quality is a prime consideration when we choose a hotel. We passed on tempurpedic because we felt they were all too firm, despite many of our friends and family members recommending that brand. We have only owned higher end store-bought mattresses before this one, so this was a major leap of faith for us. Of course we are thrilled with the money we saved, but we are also very happy with the quality of sleep we are getting too. Even if we only get 2-3 years out of this mattress, we consider it a great buy and will definitely look at this company again in the future.

Thx Sweetnight.Update: 1/2 year in...First off – this is the best customer service I have ever received with any company and it is all via email; but they still are extremely thorough, kind and incredibly caring. In this day and time to get real customer service is extraordinary! The biggest and most important update for ‘hot’ sleepers (& my main reason for updating the review): The bed sleeps profoundly HOT. I now know definitively it is the bed & not a life stage thing! :-) I did alert their WONDERFUL customer service is this and that I had to buy a cooling mattress cover, to which they even reimbursed. That’s how amazing they are. Alas - even with that investment - the bed still sleeps incredibly hot. If you live in a cold weather environment and or want to sleep toasty - this could be brilliant for you. The reason I’m 100% sure it’s the bed is that I travel often. When I sleep in literally every other hotel bed (tho suspect hotel beds aren’t memory foam) - I do not wake up sweating. So really it could not at all be their bed but perhaps memory foam mattresses just sleep extra warm. Moving on to delivery and assembly: The box is huge and heavy - so you will need a hand truck - at least if you live in a high rise apartment like I do! And you will need help FOR SURE - getting the heavy box to your home, opening it, taking out the bed in bag, getting the bed from the outside bag, and getting the plastic wrap off the bed itself. It is absolutely positively a two man job but worth it - like unwrapping a gift! But that is par for the course- not at all a complaint -just a specific so that you know what is to be expected. I would suggest using scissors to open plastic vs the paper cutter thing they provide; and be careful. The unrolling is the easiest part of 'assembly' - and you should give it the full 3 days for off gassing and expansion. You can see almost immediately how full the bed will rise. My bed rose right away went to 11" in most places. Though this is supposed to be a 12" bed / not 11" - I suspect it may plump up over time and an inch difference really doesn’t affect my sleep. I bought the memory foam/gel bed for back/hip reasons (e.g. piraformis and spinal stenosis) and already in the morning I feel the difference / am in less pain!!! Especially compared to before on my traditional coil/spring bed. Another bonus that amazon didn't mention - is that the bed is flippable!!! There are 2 sides - very very rare in a memory foam mattress! The obvious softer/truly-can-see-memory-foam side is what I would call soft medium - tho more soft than medium but not totally soft... The other side is absolutely firm firm firm! I tried the firm side first - again thinking it would be best for my piraformis and stenosis - but turned out it was too hard for me. So now I'm on the softer side - and that's way better! This bed is great for sleeping on your back and sleeping on your side!!! *But important to note*: Stomach sleeping is very very challenging; but perhaps with hip and back issues - not sleeping on stomach is better healthwise... The bed also comes with an adorable felt envelope inside which includes a funny little instruction book / cartoon story that has blank pages too you could use as diary, easy one page assembly instructions, and a letter opener for the plastic; for the latter - I still say use scissors vs opener. There is also a customer service and warranty card; no customer service # - you have to email - but again ... BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I really did like the cute touch of the felt envelope with 'stuff' inside! I think you cannot get a better memory foam mattress for this price; and believeyoume - I spent months researching online and in stores! I give it a 3 for overall - cause I personally can’t sleep on my belly and the sleeping-hot thing - but a 5...(really a 10!!!) for customer service, caring and the TLC they put into their product, the packing and quality! And I give it a high 4 for value! I DO recommend!!

I purchased this for my dad and mom; and they totally loved it. My dad said it’s the best sleep he’s had in a long time. My mom.. she’s my mom and really nothing is ever quite good enough🤣🤣

At the beginning there is a little bit of a trace of the memory foam, though laying down on it you can't ask yourself where the 3 inches are. After one year it's become less and less comfortable, feeling like a regular mattress. So, pulled the zipper and took a peek inside. The so called gel infused memory foam is a maximum one inch layer with a much thicker softer layer below. That explains why the feeling of sleeping on a regular mattress with no memory foam whatsoever.Looking now at other options I think I must have been drunk when I ordered this one. Not sure why I didn't order two of the other kind I bought at the same time, which has indeed a thick layer of memory foam like advertised. Not worth the money.
