Easy to use and very helpful!
The media could not be loaded. I don’t really have a green thumb but I love having a few plays around the house. In attempt to not kill as many plants I tried these and they have been the perfect little tool to help make sure I keep my plants alive! It comes with multiple sizes, which I have loved, and it is definitely a great value. You simply water your plant as usual, then fill up the bulb, and it helps keep your plant watered for longer. Simple little item that helps make my life a little easier!

Great Plant Water Bulbs
Purchased these plastic plant watering bulbs for my home garden items. Bulbs are easy to use and insert. Great item in theory. As directed, I watered my plants well, filled the bulbs with water, and inserted into my plant soil. My only issue is that the bulbs didn’t work as intended, and the water all dispersed into my plants after about 5 minutes. Could be user error- but I tried it multiple times without success.Love that the item comes with plenty of watering bulbs, and the bulbs seem to be made well!Hop this works better for others as I didn’t have the expected success I was hoping for, but is a great item in theory.

As described - I love being able to see how much water my plants go through
Can be annoying to fill, but thats part of the deal with these in particular, hold a lot of water and has been durable so far. Has made it really nice to know how much my plants needed water and to keep an eye on it.

Great Idea But Not Practical
i purchased these for my beloved houseplants for a 21 day trip away and I knew they would need watering. In theory these sound great, but not practical. The hole is so large that all of the water will seep out in one day. I ended up trying to plug the hole so only a trickle of water came out. That did not work and I'm not sure that I will use them again.

No from me dog
I saw the reviews that people struggled to have success with these but I tried anyway. I tried a lot. I tried a lot of angles and levels and techniques, and I couldn’t really get any of them to work more than once, if that. The small ones seem to leak out water immediately, and the larger ones sometimes do, and sometimes go slowly enough that you wonder if it’s working correctly or just blocked by soil again. The big ones are large enough that they might knock over your small to medium plant if you try to angle them to get a faster drip. The small ones are small enough that they barely hold much water at all.I’m sure it’s possible that someone could kind of luck into some kind of system that works for them using these. But it wasn’t me. I certainly wouldn’t trust these over a vacation without testing them, and also learning yourself how they work for a few weeks first. One dirt clod when you’re filling it the morning you leave and you don’t notice because you don’t know what it feels like, you’d be coming home to a dead plant. Try to use one that perhaps for some manufacturing defect just won’t hold water and you didn’t test it first? You’d be coming home to a dead plant. They are so cute, and smaller than the terracotta bottle spikes i have used successfully before. It’s a shame they just… don’t work very well.

Work Great!
If you need a slower release of water these work great! They don’t last more than one day but for my plants that need lots of water and drainage the slower release of water is very beneficial.

Not what I expected
I'm going to first say that I can't keep plants alive for the life of me, so nobody ever gets me plants, except for my dad, he gets my sister's and I plants on mothers day, I decided to try really hard to remember to water them, but my ADHD kicks on my way to water them and forgets and then they die, because I didn't water them for 1-3 weeks. I bought these to help the watering part, well I fill it up and put it in the soil, and within minutes it's empty already, so I fill it up about 5 more times and put it in different spots each time amd same thing, water drains out. I went to lowes and bought one and it works like it should, and my plant hasn't died, yet. You do get a lot more for the price, but it's worth just spending the money for a decent one. Maybe the plastic is not sealed right and there are tiny holes and water drains faster, I'm not sure, they are not worth it to me.

Perfect!
These were just what we wanted for leaving home for extended periods of time. They are plastic but I have now had both and believe both are comparable. They help water just like they should have. The design is great. You get a lot of them so pretty big bang for your buck. They function by filling the bulb up with water, flipping over and placing in potting soil of pot.

Works good
The odd time you have to poke the dirt out and position a few times to get the water dispensing right. Once that is good though the waterer works perfect.

Watering bulbs
Used these tiny bulbs as it said to do and when I went back into the sunroom, half of them were EMPTY! They are to add water to the plant as the soil dries out. We have several old bulbs that we purchased years ago and they still work, these new ones were costly and totally useless. What a waste.
