MARMOTMen's Precip Lightweight Waterproof Rain Jacket

This jacket arrived on Saturday. I attended an event on Sunday that required rain gear, then used this jacket again on Monday on a brief rainy trip to a national wildlife refuge. I can't state enough how comfortable this jacket is, and it has kept every drop of rain from hitting my skin.I own a Patagonia Torrentshell, a North Face, and an Under Armor, and this Marmot Precip has very quickly become my goto rain shell.I love it.

This kept me dry even in a downpour, without sweating.

I've owned this jacket for close to 10 years, and really tested it in different weather conditions.It is so good, that I just bought the same jacker as the inner lining that makes it waterproof was failing (after 10 years, I feel this is pretty acceptable).It is light, comfortable, the hood packs folds and packs easy, the handcuffs area easy to adjust to keep water cold out. Very well designed.

Light weight. Keeps me dry in solid down pour . Reccomend this.

This has been a great jacket for me. My only complaint is that the lining gets very stuck on wet skin, making it difficult to put on if you’re already damp. Otherwise it’s everything I could have asked for having gotten it on prime day for $50

I don't write too many reviews but this jacket is by far the best piece of clothing I've purchased from amazon. This withstood all imaginable weather in Scotland and kept me dry and comfortable daily. The customizable aspects are functional and work as designed. I highly recommend this jacket.

Looks great. Light weight. Packs into a pouch nicely. Good price compared with comparable brands. I wish it had reflective piping or something similar for nighttime/low light safety, but I wasn’t finding that on the other coats either. I may add some type of stick on or iron on alternative.

Excellent item for price. I have had precip waterproof bottoms for a number years and they have performed very well in the wilds of Scotland

This waterproof jacket exceeded my expectations in many ways. First, its lightweight design made it easy to wear all day without feeling weighed down. The jacket's waterproof feature was put to the test during a boat trip where it kept me completely dry even under heavy sea spray. I was also impressed with the pit zips, which allowed me to regulate my body temperature easily and prevented overheating. However, the hood adjustment, which uses a velcro system, was not as user-friendly as I would have liked. I had some trouble adjusting it to fit my head properly, but overall, it did not detract from the overall performance of the jacket. Overall, I highly recommend this waterproof jacket for anyone looking for a reliable and effective option for their outdoor adventures.
