Loved this bag as soon as I opened the package. Pros: color choices, lighter color fabric inside so you can find stuff, easy to fit essentials and, when unfolded, can fit water bottle, has slash-proof bag/strap. The Vale is unique in that it has RFID protection on both sides of the bag so I felt safe storing my passport in one of the external pockets. The number of pockets and ability to secure external pockets was perfect. You could easily use this as a personal size bag for under the seat, but I used a larger backpack and fit the Vale (folded in half) into the backpack’s laptop sleeve. The Vale is casual but looks nice enough to take into a restaurant.Cons: No external water bottle pocket, not a deal breaker for me - I brought a reusable bottle that didn’t sweat so it didn’t matter if I put it inside the bag. No padding on the crossbody strap, so I bought a set of 2 removable strap pads from Amazon (advertised for backpacks and guitar straps) and put one on the crossbody strap. I used my smallest compression cube to fit a sweater and rain jacket in the Vale, which made it heavy, so in addition to wearing it crossbody, I would sometimes give that shoulder a rest by using the short strap on my other shoulder at the same time. The small red clasp that secures the main zipper was a little bit hard to open, so I used a small Nite Ize hook to connect it to the zipper.One of the photos shows the Soliel (left), the Vale, and the Geo (right) for size comparison. I loved the Soleil but it looked overwhelmingly huge on me when full, so I returned it. Kept the Geo to use as an everyday bag.The Vale was an excellent bag to take on a recent summer trip to England; it’s the most versatile travel bag that gives peace of mind - highly recommend!

I have had this bag for a number of years and it has held up well. Relatively light weight, water repellent, roomy with multiple safe travel features. Bought a new one to continue the journey.

This bag is a god send! I have other purses that I love to carry around but out in public I always have to be mindful of them. Making sure things don’t get stolen out of it or being sure it’s always on my person so no one steals it. Not this bag! This bag gives me peace of mind. I can go to a restaurant and set my bag down beside me- secure it to the chair and enjoy my meal without fear of it being taken by a sly handed person. I’m almost entirely worry free with this bag and it’s features. Recently took it on a trip and Was pleasantly surprised as to how much it could hold. It held my glasses, sunglasses, keys, wallet, medications, sanitizer, camera, 32oz hydro flask, and my beats headphones. All without having to expand the bag to full size. The bag when folded over looks to me like a medium sized bag maybe on the “larger” end. When it’s not folded over it’s about the size of a small tote bag. (Think grocery bag) this purse definitely holds some big stuff without looking like it does. My water spilled in this bag during an hour long train ride. I was surprised to see that all it did was retain the water inside the bag. (It literally pooled in the bag) It leaked a little bit through but this was only after I’d gotten home and noticed. This was a full hour maybe hour and a half after. I laid the bag out to dry and within 20 minutes it was ready for the next adventure. Keep that in mind if you’re going to put drinks in this bag. I considered this a win instead of a loss. This bag is stylish, easy to clean, and looks good with any outfit. I bought the Grey and black bag. The bag itself is lightweight, very durable, easy to clean, and versatile.The only downside I would say is the straps are kinda small for my liking. I think if they even added half an inch of width to them it’d make everything better. I feel it would make the bag look more put together and feel more secure while on my shoulder. This is such a small complaint for what this bag is though. I’m in love with it and will definitely be buying more products from this company. They know how to make little bags carry big items and I’m very impressed. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone looking for a bag that gives peace of mind, versatility, lightweight, easy to clean, and looks amazing with any outfit. Buy the bag. Definitely worth it.

I love this Sherpanie Vale Anti-Theft Crossbody. Why? It is quite light weight, yet has lots of well organized space (besides the main zipper there are 3 other spacious zippered sections perfect for storing just about anything). There is a terrific phone leash - great for people like me who like to clip my phone into my purse so it can't fall out or be taken. The anti-theft feature that allows me to clip the purse onto a table or chair is easy to use & very handy, and the entire look is stylish. I suspect this will rapidly become my every day bag -- also because it is lighter than a leather purse of similar size would be. I highly recommend it.

I bought for an alternative to the same purse in orange. Good size, versatile, I like the RFID fabric but that's the only security feature I actually use. Wide band is comfortable but hard to loosen, purse is lightweight. Security features can't be beat. Don't love the contrasting chartreuse lining because I often leave a zipper open and it clashes with my outfit. ;-) I like the colors and look. It didn't lose shape after a few washes but the 'sherpani' letters peeled off (no worry, they were black on black). The appearance isn't really trendy, I.e. quickly out of style, so a plus. I like a mix of utility and simplicity that doesn't 'butch up' my minimalist feminine style. I like to hold onto a good purse for years and not change it up too much. 2 years in and I'm still happy with these. This is well designed and made, I highly recommend it if this is to your liking. Oh, it expands to hold library books or shrinks down to slouch under a light jumble of nonsense and necessities... wallet, phone, lip gloss, sunblock, spare socks, fun size Almond Joy, kids' toys.... I hope they keep making these. I'll need another in maybe 5 years. It's the perfect tool for my mom schlep.

I was worried that it would be clunky and heavyweight, but it's light and drapes super smooth. It's kind of exactly what I needed without entirely knowing as much. Has pockets but also has open space and still carries a cargo load when I forget to bring bags to the store. Everything is super well placed and thought out. I dig it. I'll buy more of their stuff.

I purchased this bag after admiring my sister’s bag and it did not disappoint. I chose the Loden colour which looks much nicer in person than in the online ad. I’m easily able to fit a laptop, couple of sunglasses cases. It is versatile in that it functions to hold as much or little as needed. Really like the strap options: cross body, shoulder or handbag and there is no fussing to switch methods, very comfortableyy. Also really like the key lanyard. Keeps everything in its place. Looking forward to travelling with this.

Apenas llevo usandola un par de veces y ya se està deteriorando el vinil o vinipiel, no la recomiendo, se daña pronto.
