Perfect for mailing small things and keeping them protected! The padding is nice and thick!

First impressionThey are not (10”) long. Even so, I was not disappointed when I received these thick, durable, classic 6¾” x 9” sized, peel and seal padded half-sized Kraft styled envelopes. They are slightly oversized on the exterior; however, the opening is 6” to slide what will fit inside. The padding is protective air-bubbles. Best of all, these are lightweight – at about (12) grams, which is less than ½ of an ounce.Fit & FinishIn my eyes, excellent. The envelopes are a classic size, thickness, and high level of durability, packing considerable amounts of whatever I want to place in them, without worry of their tearing or ripping; and having some level of confidence of protection.See through?No. Sufficient privacy is afforded the contents of the envelope.Peel & seal featureI find the peel and seal feature convenient and holds securely. However, I always place a strip of heavy tape over, just to make sure.BrandThe brand, Quality Park, which appears to be that of Tops Products LLC., is a brand that I have a tiny bit of familiarity with; my understanding is that their legacy stretches back decades.Country of originMade in the USA – hooray.Aromas?The envelopes have the usual Kraft paper aroma, nothing more, and nothing objectionableSound?The envelopes have a typical slight crunch like sound found in a new crisp Kraft bag.Are the envelopes coated?I cannot say with certainty, and I found no reference, that’s a slight negative.Why do I care if the envelopes are coated?Coated envelopes may be more durable. The downside is if coated, what are they coated with? Further, a coating my inhibit the natural abilities of the paper to be compostable and biodegradable, which is important to me. So, failing to identify is a slight negative.Feel?Almost silky smooth, which kind of makes me think the envelopes could possibly be coated.LooksStandard Kraft padded envelope looks, not cheaply made, rather above average to premium.Made from recycled materials?Unknown.FSC?I saw no reference the paper was FSC certified, that’s a slight negative.What is FSC?Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified. I have no idea if the forest(s) the trees for these envelopes are being managed appropriately. That’s a slight negative.Value?I feel I obtained fair value, in selecting these envelopes, considering their listing price and their build quality and that they are name brand, from a noted brand and are made in the USA.I am very happy with my selection.How they arrivedWithin a sealed semi-retail type cardboard box measuring 6½” tall x 9½” wide x 7 ½” deep. The label confirmed 6” x 9” size, not the 6” x 10” in the listing.RatingThe envelopes were listed as 6” x 10”, mine came is at about 6 ¾” x 9”, so slightly smaller than what was noted in the listing, however, these are excellent. I am rating them five (5) stars. I really have no negative comments.I hope my thoughts added a bit of information.

I bought this because it's supposedly the same size as other bubble mailers I have used a liked.Comparatively, the inside of this one is smaller than other mailers of the same size. The bubble plastic is also adhesive, like cling wrap. This means that items that should fit, do not, because the plastic won't let it go in. I have torn several trying to fit standard cd cases.For products from this maker, I would suggest one size larger than you think you need. Or just a higher quality product.

The measurement of these Quality Park bubble mailers is listed on the product title as being 6" x 10", but the length measuremennt includes the top flap. It's no big deal for me, but if you're looking for those exact dimensions, you should look elsewhere. Still, the envelopes seal well even though the corners have no adhesive; it's really difficult to open the envelope by accident by pulling on those corners.These envelopes aren't super-padded, but they will suffice to protect most things inside them.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

These are great mailers. Decent sized. Padded nicely and protective. Great privacy!

I have used many different 9x6 padded envelopes and have never had an issue getting a DVD case inside. Can't fit one in these envelopes without them tearing. Waste of money.

If you ever find yourself in need of bubble mailers, look no further! These are quite nicely made little mailers! I see nothing to complain about. I could go on for hours about these, but I'll spare you. If you are in need of such, and the price is right, you can buy these without worry. Quality.

These are 6 x 10”, so they are not designed for full sheets of paper. They do come in handy for mailing small items fairly cheaply. I like to use them for jewelry items, small bags of candy, and other small gifts. For someone who sends a lot of paperback books, these are a great size for those also.
