Great for my tattoo's aftercare!
I got the applicator to help with applying lotion on a fresh tattoo that covered half my back because I didn't want to bother anyone else with helping me.It took some getting used to - especially trying to use it looking in the mirror - but ultimately it worked like a charm and was super helpful! The reach and stability was great. It never came apart, the applicator portion was awesome, and almost everything washed off really easily. There are some nooks and crannies around the applicator that I needed to run my nail down to get stuff out, or a toothpick would probably work fine, but the tool itself worked exactly how I needed it to and I like that it comes apart for easy storage.

Great for the newly single
For the first time in my life, there's no one there for the hard to reach area of my back. And my eczema is acting up. In that spot between my shoulder blades. UghThe product says not for use if you have eczema, but the applicator sponge didn't cause any irritation when I used it to apply my hydrocortisone cream. So hopefully I'll be all better by the time it's warm enough to wear anything that may show my back.Independence, here I come! LOL

It works for what its supposed to do, with reservations
The plastic handle isn't the most convenient or the sturdiest thing I've ever seen, but the unique feature is that the applicator pad is non-absorbent, which it should be, which is why a bath brush doesn't work. If you are applying lotion, or in my case, pain cream to the center of your back, then yes, this works. It's sturdy enough for that and washes clean just fine. However, its doesnt fold,; you either need to store it assembled in one long piece, which is a bit of a pain, or take it apart from the plastic clips that hold it together to make a smaller package, which is also inconvenient. I leave mine together as I'm not too sure how sturdy those clip mechanisms are for repeated usage. Over all, it works OK, and does a job that's needed. I got one for my sister as well because she needed it for the same problem, how to reach the middle of your back with a cream or lotion. Would I buy it again? Maybe. If I couldn't find a sturdier one, I guess I would.
