Saucony Mens Guide 17 Running Shoe

Good for wide feet
Saucony guide 17 is a good shoe for someone who's looking for a shoe with wide platform and a roomy toe box. Even my wide feet don't feel scrunched up like they do in Adidas or Nike. But if you're buying this as a stability shoe then don't bother coz there's barely any stability elements in this shoe. The two most glaring cons for me is the weight of the shoe, wish they were a bit lighter, and the rubber on outsole, why do companies keep removing rubber from the outsole, there's barely any rubber with exposed foam, and that affects the durability of the shoe, especially for heavy people.

Not for good runner
Not for good runner, if you have some different flat feet than only it’s comfortable

Good shoes for stability and training..
Superior cushioning ensures that the road runs are not hard in feet. Good for training and easy runs. Has good arch support and stability. Road running does not impact knees due excellent cushioning. However the trade off for stability and cushioning is speed. You have to put in more effort to run fast. However excellent as a trainer.

Stable Shoe but less cushioning compared to brooks glycerin
I have been using Brooks Glycerin 18 and now using Guide 17 and Glycerin 21 both of them are of same price after discounts , being overweight category, i feel brooks glycerin is more comfortable than this. its my personal experience after using the both shoes on alternate days in treadmill for 2 weeks

It's a shoe that fits well.
The shoe fits well. I feel that it is sometimes "too soft" to run fast. Definitely better than a few other high cost brands.

Nicely light shoe with good traction and solid construction
I'm a casual runner, usually running somewhere between 5K and 10K, doing between 8-9 minutes per mile. I used to run faster & farther but badly injured my left knee at one point, and only recently started to get back into running after a couple of rounds of knee rehab. The running shop I used to go to, where they would do custom fittings, was long gone and so I ended up having to buy shoes online. I'd used Saucony shoes before and had liked them, so these were already at the top of my list to research. Based on reviews various places online, I decided to take a chance on them.I'm glad I did. The shoes are nicely cushioned without any corresponding loss of "feel," so I don't have to worry about a lot of shock to my bad knee. The trail I usually run is paved with wood chips and so can be a little slick, especially if wet, but I had no problems moving forward. The inside was well-constructed with no oddly-placed seams to rub against my ankles or heels, and the arch had exactly the right support that I needed. All in all, I'm quite satisfied.

Comodissime
