I bought this for my almost 13 year old golden who has hip dysplasia and recently started to struggle to get up on his own. He is 65 lbs and I ordered the XL.This harness is lightweight and high quality. It fits him well and is easy to put on. I have only had it for a short time but it looks very well made and helps him stand up much easier, and provide a little needed support for walking around.Thank you for providing an affordable quality product to make his life easier!

Edit - Our one old dog is comfortable wearing this all day, so we got another for the dog going to surgery. At the price, it can't be beat.This has worked well for an older dog of our with some significant mobility problems. He's about 60 pounds and has trouble getting up and sometimes needs help with walking outside on uneven surfaces. This is super easy to put on and fits him well. He doesn't mind it at all and we just gently help him up with it or help him over a curb by lessening the amount of weight his old legs need to support. It also makes it easier getting him and out of the car for small adventures or to the vet. We are also planning on using it when our 85 pound lab mix goes in for front leg surgery and needs to recover. She took to it easy and we're using with her for a short period to get her comfortable before she has surgery.A couple of recommendations:-Just measure the girth right around the biggest part of your dog's chest. The sizing seems accurate to us - XL works for both of our dogs and for maybe a larger one.-For any product to help with physical limitations, get the dog used to it before you need it in a critical situation.

When my senior dog went lame in his back leg I quickly went on Amazon to purchase several harnesses, support slings and leg braces to see what would help him out. The leg braces fell apart and didn’t support him (40$), the first harness got lost in transit ($45), second harness was late coming and looked to big (48$), the sling only worked if dog was walking on flat ground (25$). I kept seeing this support harness but I thought how can this be good for only $17.87? I figured it was going to be a cheap thing but I desperately ordered it anyways.So glad I did. It is soft and comfortable for the dog, quick and easy to get on him and totally supports him so I can help him up and down the stairs. My dog is an old chubby Beagle/Bassett (65#) that is odd shaped so I measured him carefully and followed the chart and ordered the XL.I can’t tell you how pleased I am and how wonderful this product is, how it has helped my dog out and it was so reasonable. For all you animal lovers you know how much we spend on our babies!I hope this has helped some of you out.

I actually like this harness very much. It serves its purpose and is very comfortable for my dog. Unfortunately, the pictures are inaccurate. The item is not nearly as durable as stated because the straps do not go all the way around making the points where they are sewn on extremely weak. I would rate this 5 Stars if the item was as pictured. Unfortunately, the strap became unattached and rendered the item completely useless after a couple of months.

The product is soft inside and seemed sturdy, but the strap that is supposed to go around the dog's chest so that the harness does not slip from around the dog's waist, broke when I was taking my dog down the stairs for only the 2nd time...then of course the harness immediately started to slide off my dog. Luckily we were near the bottom of the stairs or my dog might have fallen. Simply put, I can NOT recommend this product to a large dog owner. If you had a small dog, perhaps the strap would be sturdy enough. I have an older, large-breed dog with mobility problems (hence her need of a support harness) and I NEED her to have support I can TRUST. We can NOT trust this harness to have the support she needs.

We ordered this for our aging boxer and it works great! He has a hard time with his rear legs holding him upright. We bought this sling for him and it works great for helping him up and down stairs and helping him get in the vehicle since he is no longer able to jump. The chest strap works great in holding the sling in place so it doesn't slide off his rear end. I love the sling. The only problem I see about the sling is the chest strap stitching could be a little better. After the third time of using the sling the stitching broke on the chest strap not the strap itself. It's no big deal since I sew and I'm able to sew the side of the strap that came undone. Even though that happened I'm still satisfied with the product.

I bought this in preparation for my dog’s hip surgery. It was a life saver! I don’t know how we would’ve managed without it! Pay attention to the sizing guide. I accidentally ordered a size up from what I actually needed (my fault, not the company’s!) I decided to use as it was instead of exchanging. It still worked great but would’ve been even better if I’d ordered the correct size. The size chart is right on, I just clicked the wrong one by accident.

I have an elderly dog with bad hips and this works out perfectly. The strap is plenty wide to support her whole rib cage and the front strap is a nice to assure the strap doesn't slip back too far. I had ordered this before and the product got damaged during shipping so I was told I would be refunded, which I was, but I promptly ordered another one... the refund came within the time indicated, too. Very happy with the product and PETRESCU TRADING!!

I ordered this for my old 80lb dog who is having mobility issues. It looked solid and sturdy and I like the strap around the chest. What I received was an inexpensive sling that I had already purchased for much less cost. My money was refunded by Amazon but I was still disappointed that I did not get the item.
