I'm like an evangelist for this thing and have given it to all of my friends. It makes julienning vegetables so fast that that alone would be worth buying it for me. Add in the mandolin, and peeler and it's the best. I find new ways to use it on the regular.

I really wanted to like this, but honestly it doesn't do a good job shredding. Plus there's not a very ergonomic way to hold it. I'll stick to the ones they sell at the Asian store

The first time I encountered this nifty little tool was in Thailand. It was love at first use! I couldn’t find this at the markets there, so I began my search once I returned to the US. I don’t know what keyword I used, but I found it and ordered it!

All are pack together in 1 cheap plastic bag, poor quality, looking old and used, wasted money, don’t want to waste time to return the cheap stuff, trash

Bought this at a market in Vietnam for a buck for making green papaya salad but turns out it juliennes any vegetable--- only one thickness about 2mm diameter---very quickly and easily. I use it on carrots, beets, zucchini...just so easy to use and it makes your vegetable look so well prepped (think about carrots and daikon in Bahn mi or Vietnamese shrimp salad rolls). I have a good mandolin and I've bought a couple of those peelers with the jagged blade and neither juliennes as cleanly. Unlike a mandolin, it's easy to use and clean (like a peeler) so you will actually use it. As soon as I saw it on Amazon, I bought a spare because I would be extremely bummed out if I ever broke it.

Quite small but does the job.

Look quite flimsy plastic but very sharp and shreds well. Good to have 2 in a pack.

You would be better using a tea spoon to peel, grate and Juliane your root vegetables
