I used this on clients during my time training in a salon as a beauty therapist on clients, as well as on myself for 2 years and was troubled by some of the reviews.First of all, YES you need developer! You wouldn't use the cream colour of a box dye without developer (it wouldn't work) so you should treat this the same. You should also stick to the same brand of developer for safety reasons.Speaking of this being akin to hair dye,you NEED to do a patch test! Your brows should not be falling out,nor should your skin be blistering,burning or tender. Please do a patch test.Around 2cm of tint plus around 5 drops of developer should be sufficient. It should lighten a little and resemble thick custard in texture. Adjust as needed.You should only leave this on for around 5 minutes first use to make sure the colour is not too intense - some hair takes to colour better. Otherwise, maximum of 15 minutes.If you don't have a steady hand,use a cotton bud to apply some vaseline around the brows,and quickly wipe off any mistakes.Afterward,be careful washing your face, use a gentle makeup remover to remove the tint as your skin has just undergone a chemical treatment (aloe vera is good if there's a little sensitivity) and refrain from putting product on your brows for at least 24hrs.This is also great for lash tinting,but unless you're trained please don't attempt to do so as you can literally go blind!
