I have already ordered their new high pressure filter system because I trust them to do the right thing when a need arises.Pump works great had a small problem solved quickly by GX pump with a Control Board replacement.Pump builds pressure well, quiet in operation, slow fill rate does not over heat. I have worked on high pressure air and NITROX systems in and out of military. The number one enemy of compressors pumps longevity is excessive heat. This unit controls heat buildup well. Use this unit within its designed duty cycle and I am sure it will provide a long service life before rebuild.I ordered a pump on 27 March 2025 it arrived and would not run for a very long and shut down. It was tried with many options as per technical support via GX Pump. The unit-built pressure on deadhead tests just would not stay running. The failure mode did mode did not match the symptoms of the trouble shooting steps. This was an out of box failure and GX Pump thru its Amazon Official Sales Point replaced unit very quickly. I knew the reputation of these pumps were of high quality and like all factory-built items a poor example slipped thru. The replacement unit arrived quickly via Amazon 4 April 2025 I unboxed it and ran it. The unit had the same build date on tag as the first unit, still I had high hopes. No joy, same indications. Shutdowns happened running on 110 VAC and on 12 VDC. GX Pump Technical support tracked it down quickly to a Control Board (the only common failure point of both voltage modes.) This only affected one supplier Control Board and GX Pump sourced Control Boards that are another supplier (different design see pictures) and sent them out quickly. GX Pump also posted a video instruction on installation quickly.

I have a Nomad II that broke down after two years. I had to repair it a few times since, so I wanted to get a new PCP air compressor and keep the Nomad II for backup. After doing my research, I decided on the GX CS4i. This compressor cost less than the Nomad, but in my opinion is way better. Faster fills, water cooled, longer run times, quiet, and a higher PSI fill rating. I did have one minor issue at just under a year of ownership, the water pump went bad. I check to see if it was getting voltage to the water pump, which it was so I contacted GX Pump customer service. I received a new water pump shipped from China two weeks later. That fixed the issue. It's not their fault that a vendor's supplied water pump went bad. Taking care of the customer, that's what counts. I don't think you will find a better PCP air compressor then this one for under a $1000. Also, their new GX Pump PCP compressor oil/water separator filter is another great product.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I am REALLY enjoying this purchase for my PCP Edgun 2 Leishy. I just filled my Great White tank (310 BAR/4500 psi) from empty in appx. 3.5 hours, and the compressor nor tank even got warm/hot. Super quiet for the power generated, and lots and lots of online reviews praising its reliability. Before using, be sure to watch a few youtube video's on how to set up and test with the dead head, and make sure to fill with distilled water and get all the air bubbles out of the line. I am VERY happy with this purchase, and really great value too.

This pump seems to be very good quality with water cooling and auto shutoff— great valueI like that sit can be lined with a built in grease applicator— this and water cooling should prolong the life off the pump

Compressor was purchased about a month ago and has logged a little over 2 hours of runtime, mostly consisting of .35L bottle and 6.8L tank top offs, not running longer than 20 minutes each time.It developed an issue with the cooling fan, where the fan began running sluggish, and eventually stopped working. Reached out to the manufacturer via email and they quickly addressed the issue by sending out a replacement fan, which was received within 4 days. Very pleased with their customer service.The new fan has been installed and is working so far during a quick on/off test. Time will tell how durable this compressor is as I continue to use it, but I like it's comfortable noise level.

I bought this to fill my 6.8L air tank to 5200psi and my Karma Red Panda to 5000 psi. The listing says that it can produce 5800 psi. I thought that at the price listed, it would perform. No so.It took over an hour to top off my 6.8L tank from 4500psi to 5200psi.It too more than 40 minutes to fill my 1L tank on my Karma Red Panda from 1700 psi to 5000 psi.That is totally UNSATISFACTORY. No doubt about that!I email the seller for assistant but no response.Additionally it is difficult to set the desired pressure on the gauge.I am returning this.

I don't think I have a full hour on it yet but its working great so far.
