Seems to be a fantastic deal on a 16-port full 10GbE unmanaged swith.
It's a great switch and does everything I need for an SMB/SOHO switch. I was surprised to find that the unit had fans in it and I hope the fans the installed are high quality and remain quiet for a long, long really long time.

Quiet, works, simple
I bought this to go in a small rack in the front office of my studio. I wanted something quiet, and I wanted a unit that would allow me to easily plug in 1 or 10 Gbps devices, SFP+ or copper, and this does all that without a problem. The only real annoyance is how long it takes to boot—something like a full minute. For an unmanaged switch, it'd be nice to have it start up in just a few seconds, but I'm okay with it.For the price, this is not a bad deal. It's a little expensive, but it fits nicely in 1U (you can even buy a kit to sandwich in two if you want in the future!), and it saves me from having to buy 8 separate SFP+ to RJ45 adapters, which cost a pretty penny.I haven't encountered any bottlenecks, and I have tested three different fiber transceivers and two DAC cables from different vendors, all worked without a hitch (the switch on the other side was a Mikrotik).

Loop Detected when there is no loop
When I plug my ISP modem cable into any port of the QSW-3216R it will think for a few seconds then the red light flashes indicating Loop Detected.I tried everything, new cable, reset ISP modem, only running ONE cable from ISP modem (Xfinity XB-8T unit) so there is no way there could be a loop. What is more puzzling, is that I have a QNAP QSW-308S and it works perfectly fine with my ISP and other connections.QNAP official support didn't respond so I started the refund process with Amazon and will return the unit.
