Ab Meri Bari

Though I don't read Hindi literature much But picking up this book truly made so much sense to me. Each poem takes the reader through an impeccable journey towards oneself. Though the poems are short and easy to read. I had to put down the book after every poem because of the depth it carried. Easy to read but this book is a treasure trove that I recommend to each one.I cannot wait to see the writer's next book.

It’s been a while since I read Hindi poetry. I was expecting challenges, and having to buy a Thesaurus and a dictionary, alongside. But Ankita’s poetry caught me by surprise. Of course, anyone who knows her, knows the mastery she has over both English and Hindi; however, she keeps it simple and yet, poignant. The subjects, albeit heavy, are dealt with beautifully and deftly. Ankita brings to fore some internalized, some brutal, some blocked, some long forgotten, and some intentionally buried, thoughts and feelings. She unpacks the heavy. She speaks for herself and countless others. Thank you, Ankita, for sharing your poetry and prose with the world.

If you haven’t read the journalistic pieces of this internationally awarded writer you will not know what you’re missing if you don’t pick this book up.In the midst of a busy week, I find myself turning a random page and it never ceases of provoke thought or make me chuckle at the beautiful satire. After ages I read a book in Hindi, that too a book of poems and I am sure it would never illicit the same sense of wonder or reflection if it wasn’t in Hindi. I’m thoroughly enjoying it.

समीक्षा : अब मेरी बारी (काव्य संग्रह)लेखिका : अंकिता आनंद जीप्रकाशक : राजकमल प्रकाशनप्रथम संस्करण : 2024___________//___________हमारे सामाजिक ढांचे में महिलाओं को जिस तरह से गढ़ा गया है उसके कई पक्ष हमनें अपने जीवन में या तो स्वयं अनुभव किए होते है या किसी और के अनुभव करते हुए देखते है। उन्हीं सभी पक्षों को अपनी नज़र से अपने नज़रिए के साथ लेखिका अंकिता आनंद जी ने अपने इस काव्य संग्रह "अब मेरी बारी " के रूप में इस किताब में हमारे सामने रखा है। जिसे प्रकाशित किया है राजकमल प्रकाशन ने और कई मायनों में ये मेरे लिए भी अभी तक पढ़े गए काव्य संग्रहों से कुछ अलग साबित हुआ है। कुल जमा 160 पेज वाले इस काव्य संग्रह को 4 हिस्सों में बांटा गया है जो की इस प्रकार है : प्रेम, पाठ, पहचान और परिवेश। और इन्हीं के भीतर एक नारी के अनुभवों को उसकी आकांक्षाओं को उसके सपने, पीड़ा, जीवन और महत्व को कुछ सुंदर और कुछ सोचने पर मजबूर कर देने वाली कविताओं में पिरो कर कागज पर उतार गया है जिसकी स्याही हो सकता है आपके दिल और दिमाग़ दोनो पर अपने निशान छोड़ जाने में सफ़ल भी रहती है। कुछ कमाल की कविताएं जिन्हें पढ़ते हुए आप असहज भी होते है तो कहीं आप ख़ुद को भी उसी क्षण में रखकर सोचने लगते है की क्या हम भी यहीं जी रहे हैं जैसे फिर वो "जमाना बदल गया " , "तुम्हीं देवता हो ", " नेपथ्य ", हो या फिर "भले घर की लड़की", "अवसरवाद", और "मंच निर्देशन" हो। पूर्ण रूप से अगर बात करे तो प्रेम, पाठ और पहचान वाले हिस्से की मुझे ज्यादातर कविताएं अच्छी और कुछ तो बेहतरीन लगी , मगर परिवेश वाले हिस्से में कुछ कविताओं को छोड़ दिया जाए तो बाकी बची कविताएं कई जगह कुछ कुछ विषयों पर ही घूमती हुई दिखी और जिनपर किताब के पहले कुछ हिस्सों में बहुत अच्छे से लिखा गया था, और कुछ रचनाएं मुझे बिल्कुल पसंद नहीं आई या तो एक विचार के कारण या फिर उसके शुरुआत और अंत के ठीक से जुड़े ना होने के कारण। बाकी अगर मैं बात करूं अपने पिछले सभी पढ़ें काव्य संग्रहों की तो उनमें मैं इस संग्रह को सबसे पहले रखना चाहूंगा मैंने काफी वक्त देकर इसे पढ़ा और काफी कुछ सीखा भी कुछ नए शब्द और कुछ नए नज़रिए भी। अंकिता आनंद जी और राजकमल प्रकाशन को शुभकामनाएं इस काव्य संग्रह के लिए , आप भी इसे ऑर्डर करे और जरूर पढ़े एक बेहतरीन ढंग से लिखी किताब है इसे पढ़ना आप में कुछ ना कुछ जरूर जोड़ेगा।- साहित्ययात्री(१९/०३/२०२४)Instagram: Sahitya_yatri

The uses of unconventional symbols and images make this book more fascinating and enriching.
