This would make a beautiful gift
For the price this would make a beautiful gift. The exterior of the book is a fantastic quality, linen feel. The paper is a good quality that doesn’t have bleed through. The quotes make a lovely addition to having you think of things to be grateful for. This book gives you a chance to take time for yourself. Love it.

Well constructed hardback journal for gratitude journalling; no guidance for the beginner
First impressions of this hardback journal are very good. The cloth covered casebound design is reminiscent of hardback books, especially with the simple but traditionally stylish title on the front cover and spine. The paper is off a good quality and accepts fountain pen without bleeding or feathering. There is no foreword or guide to gratitude journalling. Although the concept is simple, it would perhaps have been nice to have a description of the benefits of the process, for example if presenting as a gift. Given the quality of presentation, it would make a very nice gift for someone suffering from low mood. Each page follows one of two similar formats with an upper section to be completed in the morning and the lower for completion before bed. The difference between the two is the presence of either a quotation at the top of the page or a weekly challenge. The quotes come from a wide variety of sources from Sun Tzu (The Art of War) at one extreme to Walt Disney at the other. There are five items that can be recorded on each page, besides the date:Morning section- I am grateful for (maximum 3 items)- What would make today great (maximum 3 items)- Positive affirmationAfternoon section- Good things that happened today (maximum 3 items)- What I learned todayThese are mostly self explanatory but, again, it would have been useful to provide guidance on creating positive affirmations for those less experienced. In order to get the maximum benefit it's important to know how to make your affirmations personal and believable. However, for anyone who is used to gratitude journalling you could equally say no space is wasted on telling you something you already know. The style and design is very good and completing each day's sections is easy enough to encourage regular or habitual use. In that respect it's recommended, but if giving as a gift to someone with no prior experience, some additional guidance may be required.

Very good quality
This feels like an old-fashioned library book without the dust cover. It is a cloth-covered hardback, with a marking ribbon. Looking at it, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was a classic novel in a library binding. The paper stock is heavy and will take a fountain pen without bleed. It almost feels like a shame to write in it. Having taken the plunge with this, I'm loving it. This is not my first gratitude journal, but having it structured, simple, and quick to complete means that I'm far more likely to stick with this one. There's a daily positive quote, a space for a daily affirmation, and simple bullet point spaces to fill in. Three things that I'm grateful for in the moment. Three things that would make today great. At the end of the day, there's a space to fill in three good things that happened in that day. I'm enjoying this very much and I don't think it's going to be a chore. I think it'll be one of those happy moments that on some days will become one of the good things that happen in the day.

Love the linen cover
Absolutely gorgeous journal. A great reminder of all the things I need to be grateful for. The white colour is absolutely gorgeous. Thick paper, great quality. Obsessed with the linen material on this lovely product!

Best order of 2024
Honestly I never knew I needed one of these but just seeing how beneficial it can be to your mental wellbeing and to develop that state of humbleness, makes it a worthy addition to the shelf. I really love the feeling of this cover and the paper quality, but most importantly the green and gold combo for the colours is something I think is the best out of all of them. The page is split out into two sections, one for the day, and the evening/night as indicated by that night icon. I've only done a couple pages and I didn't photograph them because they're personal, but it has allowed me to practice mindfulness. There are 200 pages too, so not enough for every day of the year, but let's be honest, you won't use it everyday.

Quick and simple recording
I have many wellness journals and I do believe in acknowledging my gratitudes each day but I must admit with time being in short supply sometimes these journals have too much to record and so I soon give up.This journal is like no other I have had previously, it is quick simple and achieveable. There are only 5 sections to complete*I am Grateful For*what would make today great* Positive Affirmation*Good Things that Happened today*What I Learned today. There is only one line to complete so your answers are short and sharp bullet points so it I easy to fit into your daily routine without taking up too much time. The journal is a hard back with a fabric pink cover and the pages inside are nice and thick so good quality in an off white shade. The bonus is you write your own date in too so you can start this at anytime without wasting a page of the book.
