This is the socket for modded Mini’s running NGK 1422’s
I picked this socket up to change plugs in my Mini Cooper, since a standard socket will get stuck in the spark plug tube! This socket is not the correct size for OEM plugs, that is a thin wall 14mm. This socket is to fit modified coopers with colder heat range plugs, specifically in this case, NGK 1422’s which take a 16mm socket. By all appearances this seems to be a good, high quality spark plug socket with thin enough walls to fit and work perfectly.

The right tool for the job, does what you expect.
It holds the spark plug very nice. Spark plug will not fall out while installing but will come off easy after you have installed. Workes great on my BMW 330i.
