Oh and don’t get me started on the ice machine scene. It’s to die for! Rath nails the witty banter and character dynamics, giving us Novy and Colton—aka the bromance that goes full romance. Poppy’s family drama is relatable AF, but her standing up to them? Iconic. Emily, where do you find the king-sized smut? (She buys it in bulk at Costco ladies and gentleman). This book is spicy, sassy, and emotionally addictive—grab a fan, because Rath brought the heat.

I have been wanting and begging for Poppy, Novi and Morrow's story from the first moment I fell in love with the Rays universe, and these three were perfection. They were messy and chaotic but still absolute perfection.Plus someone needs to apologize to Caleb Price, because Colton Morrow might be my favorite thing ever. But then again, I love them all, and in this universe I don't have to choose.TROPES✨ Hockey Romance✨ MMF and Polyamory/ Bi-Awakening✨ Accidental Pregnancy✨Friends to Lovers✨Enemies (who want each other) to LoversI really don't have words to explain how these fictional characters have burrowed their way so far in my heart, but this book was an utter delight from start to finish. I laughed and I cried, sometimes at the same time, and I fell in love with the relationship that Poppy, Novy and Morrow formed.Poppy St James is the Jacksonville Rays resident PR Barbie, and I love this woman's fierce Southern Charm, her feistiness and her resilience. I also loved how Cole and Lukas both brought out different sides of her personality. It was so evident how much she needed them both and how much they needed each other, even if they fought it for eons. Lukas is the bad boy that you just have to love, he's got a tender underbelly, but in order to get him to show it, you have to go through 10 layers of stubborness (and I mean this in the very best way). Thank goodness for Cole Morrow, because this man is as sweet and loyal as they come. He is a Leo through and through and the absolute needed calm in the storm that is Poppy and Novy.I can't find a single fault with this book, other than I immediately want more. The spice was fantastic, the banter was absolute next level and the emotional parts... well I sobbed quite a few times.I just loved it! I had over 400 tabs and highlights, so it’s safe to say this one deserves all the stars in the sky.

“Don’t worry about what I’ve done,”“Just be jealous of what I’m about to do.”I was so ready to be back in this world and I’ve been chomping at the bit for Poppy’s story. The emotions that you feel throughout this entire book just keeps you invested until that HEA.Poppy is used to putting out everyone else’s fires and keeping calm for her work but notices that it is completely different when it’s happening to her. She is torn between two men that decide to show their interest. We have Colton who is her temporary neighbour and she has felt this chemistry with for years.Then we have Lukas who just got traded to the Jacksonville Rays and is known for getting Into trouble and pulling pranks. They definitely bump heads in the beginning but that changes (a bit) as they begin to learn more about each other. There is a bit of a love triangle situation that happens but things change for the better when they decide that they can share her and have a fulfilling relationship.While we have them figuring things out together, we are also given hints of attraction between Colton and Lukas. I loved watching them explore those feelings and realize what they could have. When these characters love, they love hard and will do everything In their power to show it.I enjoyed the overlap in timelines so we are shown a bit of the other characters from a different POV. I was captivated until the end and the way it finished!! You will find me over here impatiently waiting for the next book in this series.

Another amazing book by Emily couldn’t put it down love the sparks and chemistry between and the spice was great . That’s why I gave it a 5 star can’t wait for the next one good job Emily

Well, this was my absolute FAVOURITE book in this series and a perfect example of how a why-choose book should be navigated! If you’ve been following my reviews, you’ll know that why-choose and RH are very hit or miss for me because many times, the situation is not handled respectfully and it often feels like there’s always one of the participants that is not treated equally or isn’t 100% on board with the situation of sharing someone you love!BUT THIS WAS PERFECT 🤩! The way things evolved was just… effortless and right! I cannot possibly choose a favourite here!❤️‍🔥 Poppy was a powerhouse who swallowed so much hurt and was vulnerable only with her partners because they deserved her vulnerability!❤️‍🔥Lukas was a true double Scorpio! A true onion, his feelings were pushed so far down, he always tried to sabotage whenever something good came his way! He felt unworthy of good things, and DEAR LORD, he always put his own foot in his mouth 😆. So bad at communicating! But his partners saw through all of this and loved him BECAUSE of it!❤️‍🔥Colton, my beautiful steadfast Leo, fierce to the bone, unshakable in his love for his partners and a true rock to lean on!

5⭐️ Loved this read! I love The Rays! It’s official, this is one of my fave hockey series. I love the overlapping plot lines and how each book adds a little more perspective to the party.So many feels like always with Emily’s writing style. The characters feel so real and you go through everything with them there on page at their own pace. It’s a very immersive story and experience. I felt everything. All the good parts and definitely all the bad parts. What a journey.The spice of this throuple is on fire! I love their dynamics and how they compliment each other so completely. It’s inferno! So many combos and I love a good bi-awakening. It was done delicately and honoured this process which I really admire.Can’t wait for the next MM Rays book!

I loved these 3 together. I love their start, middle, and end. I love how they showed Lukas the meaning of love and family. I love how they put each other together.I do feel like there are some things missing from the end. Unanswered questions for me. I don't want to give things away for the story, but you may understand when you read it.Don't get me wrong. I loved the book, but I have questions.
