My old faucet was heavy metal, but for whatever reason I could not get it to stop leaking despite replacing the gaskets, so I thought I'd just replace the whole thing. Well, it's a good thing there are a pair in the box and I only needed one.1) The flange at the base of the faucet is too small to cover my standard sink hole, meaning it would not tighten down to the sink. I added a big washer to it so I could install it.2) On the first one I installed, no matter how tight it was, I could not get the sink hose to stop leaking! Since I only needed one faucet, I removed the first one and replaced it with the second one. This one did not leak at the hose connection.3) Both faucets leak at the aerator screen. Did I say leak, I meant squirt! They both squirted so badly that if you run the faucet all the way open the squirted stream would wet your pants! Removing the aerator and reinstalling did not have any effect on this. They both squirt water across the room no matter what. My solution, just don't turn it on all the way and you won't get wet.Overall, the weight is light and seems to be cheaply made. Obviously the both leak at the aerator screen and one was totally useless because it leaked at the hose connection. 2 stars is gracious. I don't expect the one I installed to last very long, certainly not 25+ years like the one that I replaced.

Very nice looking and worked well for the price

It's not easy in the US to find individual faucets for hot and cold. Most faucets you can find at the hardware store are single spigot, hot and cold combo faucets. But if you have an installation that needs the separate hot and water taps (or a specific reason to want them, like I had), these are great!I purchased these because I recently moved into a new house, and the faucet on my kitchen sink is of a type that I can't hook a portable dishwasher to (no aerator to swap). So my solution was to find and install a small, individual facet and split off the cold water line. Now, full disclosure, if that exact scenario is what you're looking for, these faucets do NOT have the right size aerator! But, with a simple $3 part from Home Depot, you can adapt that. I'm not going to knock off a star for that, because I'm not using the faucet for its intended purpose!But in terms of quality, durability, general look and feel, ease of install, these are excellent. Good O-rings, seals well, easy to install. If you have a need for a separate hot and cold water tap, I have no problem at all recommending these.

Cheaply made....one of the faucets is cracked.
