Great Bike + Impressive Customer Service ♥️
I’ve given this item a 5⭐️ due to SUPERB customer service & their ability to help me achieve a quality bike & successful experience.Feel free to read more details below.👇🏼I’m generally happy with this bike & over the 🌙 regarding their customer service & willingness to do whatever it takes to meet customer satisfaction. I came into this review the 1st round with a lower rating, but I wanted to give it some time of actually testing the bike out & managing the hiccups with Engwe first to determine if I should change it to higher, which I did.The POSITIVES⭐️ The bike is “handsome” aesthetically. It’s got fatter tires, which give it more of a grunge, earthy look — like a Subaru Forester in bikes. 😂 I got mine in black, but I’m sure the green & rose gold are comparably good-looking. The bigger tires make the occasional shortcut through grassy areas or uphill feel safe & easy. It doesn’t come with lots of bells & whistles (ie, basket & phone holder will be an additional cost), but it does have a nice headlight & bell that I appreciate.⭐️ The battery life has been top-notch. I’ve ridden my bike a handful of times now, several miles each time, & somehow I still have a full battery. I have yet to test it long distances, but I’m sure I’ll be able to power through at least 40 more miles before I need a recharge. I really like this feature.⭐️ It doesn’t take a lot of throttle to start going fast. It’s quite fun!!!!! The throttle doesn’t even work in power assist 0, which I like. It helps me feel more in control of the bike. I typically stay in 0 until I need to return from the trip or go uphill, to which I just turn it to 1 & use the throttle rather than power assist. I’m not too fond of PA mode, though I know others like it.The NEGATIVES (turned +++)I’m not super comfortable when riding. I’m 5’6, which is the where this bike’s seat starts. It’s definitely made for taller people. The handle bars are a bit uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this means I’ll have to spend some $$$ to help my ride feel better for my body & back.⭐️ Luckily, these additional cost aren’t too bad & Engwe has helped make some suggestions for what to buy. This has helped me not feel like I may spend money on a wrong part.As far as assembly goes, I’ve not had the best experience. I think it really comes down to you need to feel confident in your ability to put together expensive things, follow directions well, maybe have previous assembling experience, etc. The user manual is a bit aloof on some aspects; however, I think most users could handle it. I did end up using a professional to check over the preassembly & my assembly. They shared that we both had done a decent job but fine tuned some nuts & bolts to either be looser or tighter. They overall just made sure it rode better. And lastly, they suggested a couple of replacement parts. They explained that these parts currently wouldn’t affect my ride but may wear out sooner than I’d probably hope for. For there to be only a couple of not so much concerns but suggestions, I saw this bike is pretty solid for its cost.⭐️ Also, this is where Engwe went above & beyond to get me those parts for when I do replace them so that I don’t have to dish out more money, & they’ve just taken care of me as their customer. They’re super quick at response time & thorough. There’s some other things they’ve done to be helpful that I’m grateful for. I feel certain that they’ll continue to dig above & beyond in future.Tis why I do recommend this bike!

The best
Okay for starters they send me the wrong color, I had ordered a green and a pink bike and received a black and a pink bike. Also the handlebars were a little difficult to figure out. After I realized that you have to fold the handle bars down to access the screw in the middle though it was fine. I reached out to customer service team though and I can’t say enough good things about them. They even compensated for sending the wrong color of bike with 2 of the bags for the back of the bike. The bikes are literally the most fun. I bought them for my teenage son and myself. I was a little skeptical about purchasing an e-bike because I didn’t want it to just be another thing laying around my kid had no interest in. I’m so glad I did. He rides it every day. He loves his bike and so do I. Well worth the purchase. I don’t know much about other brand of E bikes but I will say this is the one to chose if you are in the market. 100% would purchase again.

Some assembly required
Really happy with this purchase. Im 5'6" 170 lbs and am standing on my tiptoes when seated, but really like the pedal stroke. Only con I see so far is the minimum seat height the Engwe L20 2.0 is really best suited for taller riders, or those with really long legs. Ive a 33" inseam so the minimum seat hieght is just a few inches taller then is comfortable when sitting at a stop; im on my tip toes.I did struggle with aligning 2 bolts for the rear cargo rail as the front two bolts wouldn't line up. 40 minutes later had too take a break and come back to them as it was getting frustrating. Another 5 minutes later after getting 1 of the bolts in the 2nd bolt went in easily. It did take nearly another hour getting both front and rear disc breaks aligned so they weren't rubbing on disc pads when rotating the tires.Delivery was fairly quick, ordered on the 28th, near midnight. Shipped on the 29th, arrived on the 5th of July. Likely would of arrived had the 4th not been a holiday.Went on a short 2.5M ride last night. A short test of pedal assist levels. PAS 1-2 are very comfortable pedaling. PAS3 is about the fastest I can actually pedal with. PAS4 I'm ghost pedaling and not really able to keep up with pedaling, feel like im actually pedally with any kind of resistance. Just spinning the crank so that power is being used which is doing all the work. Same for PAS5. Thinking for me, PAS 2 and 3 are likely to be the most used by me. I purchased the Engwe L20 2.0 for the intended use of going on longer bike rides, 20+miles.Update: 33.4 mile ride on 1 charge. Initially in PAS 4 (20mph pedaling) and moderate throttle use on rolling hills I rode 25.3 miles using 60% or 3 battery bars. Switched to PAS 3, rode another 8.1 miles 15.5 mph for a total of 33.4 miles. I still had power showing 1 bar (last 2 miles battery bar had dropped to 1 bar) but stopped my ride as it was 97°f and I was getting really tired. I am guessing I could of gotten another 4-5 miles on PAS3 before completely draining the battery. Anyways that's my first long ride I've ridden in over 3 decades of not riding a bike. I'm really impressed with the performance so far. Initially I thought pas3 (15.5mph pedaling) would be used the most but after riding I got used to pas4 (21.4mph pedaling) was very comfortable and climbed rolling hills easily without any difficulty.Headlight was bright enough to see the road clearly, I'll likely add on another headlight, rechargable wider area of lighting, high low beam etc, previously purchased for previous pedal bike. Still the stock light is usable and adequate but I'd suggest a higher quality head light for any serious night riding. Rear light is very bright easy to see and break light is nice. Likely I'll be adding on a turn signal light kit. Honestly I think stock turn signal lights would be a great improvement for Engwe to add to all thier models. I plan on going on a long distance ride this morning(updated above) before it gets to hot outside, it's summer with a heatwave warning this weekend so I might cut the distance short but still want to get a good understanding of range on heavy throttle use.Anyways this is a very powerful ebike in my opinion. Really nice price , great performance just from a 2.5M test ride (update 33.4Mile ride on 1 charge with power left) out of the box after 2 hour charge time. Guessing battery was 66-70% full when delivered as charge time is stated 6 hours for a complete charge with the 2Amp charging station.Oh if your hearing a loud whining, griding noise when spinning tires by hand then realign the disc brakes. Tires should spin freely without making any noise. If you don't realign the disc brakes your going to wear out your disc's quickly, get terrible distance and make a lot of noise that you shouldn't be making.

Great Electric Bike with Good Customer Service
I purchased this electric bike and was very impressed with the quality. It rides smoothly and is easy to speed up, making it a joy to use on the road. Everything worked perfectly, and we were really happy with it.However, one day while we were riding, my husband unfortunately fell and lost consciousness. The bike was seriously damaged, including a broken frame. It was a very scary situation, but I want to highlight how amazing the customer service was during this difficult time. They were incredibly kind and supportive, and without hesitation, they arranged to send us a brand-new replacement bike. It’s rare to find a company that truly stands behind their product and takes such good care of their customers. I highly recommend this electric bike—not just for its performance, but also for the excellent customer service that gives you peace of mind.
