GOLDGEGatsby-inspired 1920s Men's Costume Set with Gangster Vest, Pocket Watch, Hat, Suspenders Accessories for Halloween Cosplay or Retro Parties

We were looking some accessories to go with an early 1900's-inspired costume, and overall, this set did not disappoint.A few notes:- The vest is VERY small. My 5'3", 105-lb 11-year-old daughter who generally wears a women's size small was able to wear it with a bit of wiggle room, but it was comical to see how small it fit on my 13-year-old son who normally wears a men's size medium. I'm not sure which adults they tested this vest on, but "fits most adults" is definitely a stretch.- Likewise, the hat runs small - it barely fit my daughter's head, but it mostly just hovered above my son's head. Now granted, my kids have big heads (clearly to hold their big brains?), but they're not INSANELY big. I'd be surprised if the hat fit "most adults" any more than the vest would.- The pocket watch looks real, and even pops open with the touch of button, but it does not actually work. It is a nice looking prop, though.- The necktie, bowtie, sleeve garters (is that what they're called?), pipe, and tie clips all do exactly what they are supposed to do. (The bowtie is a bit funny with the elastic enclosure, but it does look good when it's worn under a collar!)- The suspenders are adjustable and probably really can "fit most adults" - finally, a winner!- The glasses are pretty fragile - the wire rimming feels like its about as thick as heavy floral wire. Fun accessory, but don't put them in a back pocket and sit on them!- The fake mustaches are HILARIOUS... I can't imagine anyone actually wearing them as an accessory, but they are super funny to pair up with big googly eyes on posters... (or so I've heard... from a friend...)Not a bad collection of accessories to fill all your early-1900-vibes needs!

I purchased this for my husband who wanted to wear it as his Halloween costume, as soon as he opened up the package which was all compacted the hat came out looking like this all crushed up, he shouldn't have to iron out of fedora hat to wear properly with his costume which is completely impossible anyway because it'll never look like a fedora like it's supposed to look; it looks nothing like the picture and basically damaged I was completely unsatisfied with this, this is unacceptable.

i said the majority in the title. the watch doesn’t work or needs battery’s, the chain the watch was on broke within an hour of me having it. the vest pockets aren’t real and can’t even fit the watch in it. other than that it’s fine

Everything was great but the HAT……. we had toPurchase another hat to wear to our event due toThe hat coming like this…. Didn’t have time toSend back due Us leaving for our event the next day…. Probably won’t be ordering anymore! Can’t just return the hat I tried to

This set for men is perfect for cosplay! I got it for my husband and he loves it! O love that everything is well made and feels authentic. It doesn’t feel like junk at all. The hat was the only thing I didn’t like. It got smooshed in shipping and never recovered fully to shake so that’s a waste. Other than that I really like it.

I am going to be attending a 1920's themed dinner and wanted to get some period attire, so this kit is ideal. Unfortunately, the vest that "fits most adults" would be better suited for a middle-school aged boy, not a full grown man. Besides the small vest, the rest of the kit is great. The hat is a little scrunched due to the packaging wrapping it tight, but I'm hoping that I can steam some of the wrinkles and bends out. The watch has hands that move with the knob, and a face that pops open, but it's not a real watch. The tie is decent as is the bow tie. The pipe and clips are nice and the suspenders did fit when I adjusted them out. I did not try the package of fake mustaches, but maybe I will try wearing one later. My kit did not come with the glasses that it shows in the listing, so that is a little bit disappointing.I think this is a pretty nice kit if you need to step back in time, but remember that the vest is really small.

What I like about this costume kit is how it can be used for many different costumes and cosplay. I wanted it for a Sherlock Holmes costume, and with the pocket watch, pipe, stick on mustaches and suspenders, all I need is the Deerstalker hat and coat to make it complete. You could also use the kit for a Steam Punk costume, 1920's "Great Gatsby" costume, and more. I was genuinely impressed that the pocket watch is metal, and the pipe has a quality feel to it, and if you're curious, yes, it has a hole, so you could suck air through it, if you want. I included a picture of me wearing the suspenders, and the elastic arm band. They work well, and the arm band wasn't binding--my bicep is 12". Since I have a large chest, I was worried that the clips would be weak and slip off, but they held strong! The spectacles are cute, but are lightweight, so I'd treat them gently, if you're going to use them. The only disappointing item was the hat. All the items were shipped tucked into the hat, and it protected those items well, however the hat took the hit and arrived super janky. I didn't plan on using the hat, so no big deal for me.
