K-Swiss relies on their classic, low-profile styling in this casually retro look. Founded more than 40 years ago in Van Nuys, California, K-Swiss introduced the first all-leather tennis shoe, the K-Swiss Classic, in 1966. Since its inception, K-Swiss has rooted itself in California Sport with an aim to be the most inspiring and innovative athletic brand in the market. Today, the company offers performance and lifestyle footwear and apparel for several categories under its California Sports umbrella including Tennis Heritage, California Fit (Running, Triathlon and Fitness) and California Youth.

NOT a tennis court shoe
I ordered these shoes because K-Swiss has (at least for the time being -- they are undergoing management changes) stopped making their excellent Grancourt tennis shoes, which is all I wear on the court (I play tennis four or five times a week). All you can buy now is what is left in stock and they no longer have my size (and for my feet I need extra wide EEE shoes) but these did come in my size so I thought I've give them a try.The good news is they are just as comfortable as the excellent Grancourt, requiring no break in period to wear. All K-Swiss shoes in the proper size should fit like slippers from the moment you put them on, and this is no exception. The bad news is the sole isn't a tennis sole -- the tread is more of a synthetic "off road" sort of pattern so prevelant nowadays on teens and young adult shoes. It's not bad for a walking pattern, but no way does it allow you the movement on the court you need for tennis (I can't speak for other sports since tennis is all I play).I've given these shoes the highest rating for general purpose shoes -- I'll wear them when I'm not on the court -- but those looking for an actual tennis shoe (or even a shoe for whatever sport you play) should, well, tread lightly (pun intended :>). For an actual tennis shoe (compared to the Grancourt) I'd rate them at a 2.

K-Swiss ST329 Men's Sneakers from Amazon Warehouse Deals
I bought these shoes on Amazon Warehouse Deals to replace a pair of New Balance shoes I had been using for the past five years when the sole of one shoe became detached. I had never worn K-Swiss shoes before but they were the style I wanted, the right size and the price was less than half what I would pay for the same pair in a shoe store. The description said the shoes were a demo pair that were only tried on by people in a store and never worn outside. They might have small scrapes and skuff marks. They did not have the original manufacturer's box. The order arrived on time. The shoes came in a generic box with no marking on it. Other than not having the manufacturer's original box, the shoes appeared to be brand new and never worn. There were no scrapes, skuff marks or wear of any kind. They were the right size and fit perfectly. The K-Swiss are very comfortable with well padded insoles and arch support. They appear to be extremely well made with quality material and workmanship. I am very happy with my purchase and will probably be buying K-Swiss again in the future. I will definitely be using Amazon Warehouse Deals for future purchases.

Good shoes for wide feet
This is a somewhat premature review as I have not yet worn these actual shoes to play tennis (my current tennis shoes still have some life left in them). But I purchased these shoes now because of the good price, and I was worried that they'd sell out since non-New Balance wide tennis shoes are difficult to find. My current tennis shoes are also K Swiss, the same size, and most importantly the same EEE width. They are not the exact same model but close enough. I have wide feet, and especially for athletic shoes I need to buy wide sizes. But I didn't like how, for tennis shoes, that usually means that I'm stuck with New Balance. Nothing against New Balance, but it's nice to have at least some other brand choices for wide tennis shoes. I like the way these shoes look and they felt good as I walked around inside the house. I fully expect them to perform well on the tennis courts, like my current K Swiss shoes. K Swiss, please continue to make wide tennis shoes!

Great shoes, but...
These seem to be the same great-looking and quality design I've grown accustomed to from K-Swiss over the years. That said, I wear a size 14, and these are the narrowest shoes in my size I've ever owned. They do fit, but it's tight!

Surpasses the old K-Swiss....Come in Wide widths...Very, Very comfortable!!!
Recently saw a buddy of mine and he was wearing K-Swiss. I mentioned that I had worn the original, years ago and he said his shoes were very comfortable. I have a "wide" foot so was happy to see K-Swiss in 2EE and 3EE sizes. The "updated" K-Swiss lives up to...actually surpasses the old standard from a few years ago. Probably the most comfortable tennis shoes I have worn in years!!! ...and they look GREAT!!! If you need a classy shoe that has a wide width, check out K-swiss. I am LOVING these shoes!!! I see Amazon is out of stock on many of the popular sizes and colors so hopefully they will be back in stock shortly so I can get another pair or two in different colors. I LOVE these shoes!!! :-)

Great shoes!
My husband is like a 5-year-old boy when it comes to shoes...he wears them out like CRAZY. K-Swiss are the only shoes that are sturdy enough for him but they also look great! He wears a size 13 so he's always a bit self-conscious about if his shoes look goofy and these are very good looking. They go with everything and are very comfortable. The price is awesome too and he is very pleased!

Fit great & wear well. Has good support too.
Bought another pair of these for my hubby. He has a tendency to wear brand new sneakers while mixing & pouring concrete. Now he has a brand new pair for work & a brand new pair for after work activities. I think he scuffed up the first pair on purpose so he could scam a second pair. ROFL!! He is worth it. Sneakers are great & they even wash well in washing machine. Just air dry.

Not as good as I had hoped.
The shoes are initially comfortable. They are sharp looking and being in the healthcare field, they aren't flashy and look good with any of my scrubs. That being said I have 2 HUGE issues with these shoes.1. The inserts of the shoe aren't very good. I notice after about half my shift I get foot fatigue on the balls of my feet. I removed them and replaced them with some Dr. Scholls.2. These shoes have the WORST wet traction of any shoe I have ever wore. I REALLY have to take care with my steps in mildly wet conditions. For this reason alone I would not recommend them if you are going to be in an area where a wet floor might lead to a situation where you could slip, and perhaps hurt a patient or another as well.I read SO many good reviews of these shoes and I thought that they would be perfect. Honestly I could get by the insert issue, but the wet floor traction is a deal-breaker. If you are looking for a good work shoe in the health care setting, I'd go with something else, Dansko or Merrell are more expensive, but you do get what you pay for.
