A fun arcade game!
My two little ones love the traditional 'whack a mole' style game that you get in arcades so I knew that they would love this when I saw it!It is well made and seems quite sturdy and robust to withstand all the hammering it will no doubt get! I like the additional features that make this an upgraded version of what I expected; it comes with a pack of little gold coins which you have to put in to operate it and then they get depositted in the little tray at the bottom, plus it comes with two mallets which have 'holsters' at either side of the machine so handy for when storing away to not lose them. The mallets themselves have a very soft and squidgy rubbery end to them so I think wont break easily and wont cause damage to the main unit.Comes in a fun and brightly coloured box - this would make a fab gift!

Well - quite a bit of fun had
Got this for a couple of 2 year old twins. They are slightly below the recommended lower age of 3, but they did enjoy playing it. Comes with 2 hammer so they can play nicely together! Fat chance! Fortunately the hammers are soft!Requires 3 AA batteries - not supplied! Has a little drawer for plastic coins (supplied) which you need to insert into the slot, arcade style, to get the game started - which is a nice touch! Then its just a case of hitting the play button and smacking the "mole" that lights up.Very simple to play, very simple for young kids to understand. The one downside is that the technique for registering the "hit" is a little bit hard to master. Sometimes when they hit the mole it didnt actually score the hit. It didnt matter to the twins - they werent keeping score anyway! But the purists out there would see it as a drawback. I could get the "hits" to register everytime if I hit the "mole" directly on the top of its head, but the twins werent as precise as that. But, like I said, they didnt care - they loved the game anyway. The RRP is £39.99 which, I would think was a slittle steep, but it is well worth the £24.99 that its currently on offer for.Recommended, and it would suit down to 2 year olds I would say...might need help putting the pennies in the slot though!

Great Fun For Children
This is a fun tabletop version of whack a mole! It requires 3 AA batteries, which are not provided but I had some kicking about so it wasn't a problem. It comes with two hammers so you can have one or two people playing at the same time. I love the addition of the coins as it makes it feel like a classic arcade game. Great fun for children!

Whack a mole arcade game.
A battery operated whack a mole game based on the old fairground game.It comes with two hammers, for competition, and a bag of coins for putting in the slot to play.It plays music and the moles light up randomly. It is fun to play and the randomness of the lights helps concentration and dexterity. We have a three year old grandson who, first of all found it frustrating because of the randomness of the lights. But after a few goes he got the hang of it and he could bash the lit ones fairly easily. The old game had the moles below the surface and they popped up randomly. With this it is just the lights that indicate which ones to bash.I don’t know how long it will last with all the bashing it takes but he’s having fun with it while it lasts.

Fun!
The media could not be loaded. This is a lot smaller than it looks in the photos. However it’s great fun for the whole family. And I quite like the fact it’s much smaller it means it’s easier to store when my kids aren’t playing with it. it comes without battery and does require three double a batteries. The game is very easy to play. There are two different modes and some novelty coins that make it feel like a real arcade game three world managed to play it with a bit of assistance and even the grandparents ended up getting involved. Good fun And I’d be happy to recommend this miniature game. The only downside is that the pieces don’t pop up like in the original game they light up and if you are in a well lit room, this can be hard to see

Keeps the kids (and adults) amused.
The media could not be loaded. The VATOS Whack Game Mole comes with two mallets to allow for two players, but to be honest, it's a bit small for two players to play at the same time.It also comes with a set of coins. To operate, push the switch up to the first position and the machine will prompt the player to insert a coin to play. However, don't worry when the inevitable happens and all the coins become lost, if the player pushes the switch up to the second position, the game can be played without inserting a coin.Whichever mode has been selected to play the game, (coin or no coin), the player will then be prompted to select a speed, either speed one or speed two. This is done by selecting the corresponding mole that lights up. Once the speed has been selected, the game begins. The idea is to hit each mole with the mallet as they light up, working through all the levels. There is a button next to the on/off switch that allows the game to be paused. Press to pause, then once the pause button is pressed again, the game resumes. There is no volume control (although it's not loud) and there is no option to switch the sound off completely. It requires three AA batteries that are not included, so please be mindful of this if gifting it.Overall, it is a fun game that has kept the adults and grandkids alike amused in our house.

Fun and engaging
The media could not be loaded. This is a fun little arcade game and supports physical development and hand-eye coordination.Pros- it's brightly coloured and inviting for children- it supports development- it feels well made and durable- it has 2 hammers- it's realistic to an arcade game and has coins to put in- it has different levels so you can progress through- it assumptions feet on the bottom so it remains steady while in useCons- it could promote gambling from a young age- when you hit the mole it makes a noise like they are in pain, which doesn't sound very nice- it would be could if there was a volume level so you could adjust it- overpriced in my opinion
