I had this same set as a kid nearly 40 years ago (that is horrifying in itself!) and happened upon these on Amazon. The cards themselves are just as I remember them and very good value for money - especially in relative terms when I think what they cost in the 80s. They will withstand many, many games I am sure. They are worth it just for the hefty dose of nostalgia alone!The age range is given as 6+ and the premise of the game is quite simple, so I would say anyone can play provided they are able to read and count. Although it is a horror themed pack, it is very much based on the old Hammer horror films and very tame compared with today’s media content. That being said, some of the illustrations are a little bit gruesome and some kids are more sensitive than others, so I would advise exercising your own discretion as to whether or not you think they are suitable if giving them to children. I have attached a photo of a sample of cards which hopefully gives a better idea of the contents.I used to play these with my younger brother and, now that we are all grown up, I can’t wait until Covid restrictions end so that we can have a rematch and I can once again trounce him in a Top Trumps tournament, lol. Champion!

Me and my sisters loved playing this set of TopTrumps. When I saw it had been re-released I had to get it. It’s dissapointing that the Demon and Ogre card weren’t included, I knew this before I bought them from other reviews so I decided to make my own.Love this set I’ve enjoyed playing them with my daughter.

Top Trumps are always a great stocking filler and always well received. Simple game that can be leant in 5 minutes and played time after time!

Original version on the left with reprint on the right. Both have the same red and white dragon image on the rear, in a similar pose to the dragon card.The picture quality looks good, but are not as good as the original. I noticed that they must have been scanned, instead of using the original images, because there is an obvious crease printed on the Elf card.This makes the change/error on the peasants fear factor unexpected. It doesn't change the game play much, because previously it could only beat the fool and sprite using fear factor.You should also notice that two key cards are missing, the ogre is good but the demon was always a game changer. It was always difficult to win if you were not dealt the demon.The card quality is perfect and is actually higher quality than the original version. The original was shiny on one side, but the back was just card.I hope that these last at least as long as the original, should do given the finish.

I'll never be able to afford a set of the originals off eBay, now I wish I'd kept mine safe, but these reprints of the classic retro decks are just as good.I especially like the fact that printed on the reverse of the deck looks the part to.They've really delivered a great reprint here, especially for someone who wants to grab back a piece of their youth, but at a tiny price.

Great to have these again after all these years. I know they have missed out two of the cards one being the top trump demon card but that doesn't bother me as I can now play these with my son.

I used to have this pack of top trumps as a small boy and loved them. So when i saw them again i had to have them and they do not dissapoint. Great seeing all the old cards and images again. I also think that its the best deck of top trumps going as the stats on the cards make for a great game.

Great walk down a nightmarish memory lane. Bit of fun and great stocking filler for any horror fans on your nice/slasher lists !

Tolles Thema, leider auf Englisch, für Kinder daher schwierig. Schade!
