EZ Bird Harness (Caiques)

I have tried other harnesses and these work great. Easy to slip on bird and he loves to go for walks. He now looks forward to wearing it when I bring it to the cage. Great company, easy to follow literature for using. I have a cockatoo that is in-between sizes and they sent two different sizes for the same price. I am thankful for that, the larger of the two fits best. I have found and used cheaper, you get what you pay for. These will make you feel great and confident your bird in safe and enjoying "the ride".

I purchased this harness for my caique because the harness itself seemed less intrusive than the Aviator one I was using before.It was indeed less uncomfortable, but also not as well built. Still my parrot seemed to prefer it.When I took him outside on the second day of using it, he flew after being spooked by a robin and the leash to the harness snapped, allowing him to fly freely. He flew in circles on a farm for a minute, until I was able to retrieve him after he landed on a piece of farm equipment.I don't recommend this product for this reason. I ESPECIALLY do not recommend using the leash provided with the produce. Use a different leash with a thicker cable. I lucked out in this instance. I hope this helps somebody else. The media could not be loaded.  It’s very nice and the straps and harness are all soft on the inside so it seems like it wouldn’t irritate my bird and I have a female cockatiel and she’s seems ok with it she’s not in pain or anything but she kinda doesn’t really like it which would be expectable with putting anything foreign on your bird they usually want to take it off right away but I’m trying to get her used to it I put it tight enough to hold her correctly but also loose enough so it will not squeeze her and I can fit a finger through the straps and she can also move it up and down with her beak so it’s not hurting her but since the cord is in her way she tends to bite it but overall it’s a good product I feel like it’s worth the money because it fits perfectly and doesn’t hurt her but she doesn’t nessesarily like it it’s a little hard to get it on her too as she moves and stuff and I have to make sure she’s not getting any feathers caught in the place where you secure the strap but it’s overall a good product and keeps them from flying away too far and also has an elastic part of the cord so that it’s not yanking the bird hit just more like guiding them that they can’t go that way and so she would fly back towards me :)

Even though it has holes like a belt, there is no metal rod to hold it in place better. Would definitely be much more safe if it did! I’m having to consistently check it to be safe.

Phoebe is not thrilled with the vest, but we are just starting out. I have already lost one bird to the outdoors (I was devastated). I am determined to be with my baby and not lose her. My husband and I are traveling now that retirement is here and Phoebe is going, too. The vest provides quality time sitting outside when we are not sight-seeing. I am still working on the belt connection not taking too long, but I feel that will come in time. Phoebe loves me, so she gets over changes easy. I am positive this will go well, as each fitting is getting easier and longer.

I just got this in the mail and I just want to say how upset I am that I spent money on an aviator before I knew about this harness. Not only did it come about a week early but all of the issues I had with the aviator are completely gone with this one. Not to mention it's very light weight and the size was spot on. And it's super convenient how the leash is detachable. Needless to say I love it but the best part is Ava (my eclectus) loves it too

this didn't work out like i wanted. The harness was very hard to get on my african grey. He didn't like it at all but i will say it is a very nice looking harness and very tough. My parrot tried many times to tear it up and it held up well.
