Love this Salt
If I am going to add salt to my diet, I really like to do it with a salt that is beneficial to my body. Have been using it for years and will continue to do so.

Not to sure if this should be used for food
I ordered this salt as i had never tried Himalayan pink salt before and from the product images i assumed i would be receiving coarse rock salt but i received fine ground.I used some on my meal as seasoning and its salt as you would expect but talking to another vine reviewer they suggested dissolving some in water as they had found undissolved residue behind.I did the same and used 2 teaspoons in 3 cups of boiling water in a saucepan to make sure i was not over saturating the water and as can be seen in the image there is quite a lot of undissolved residue left behind. This is apparently normal but from my research fine ground pink salt is really for bathing and the residue left behind is likely iron and silica, i did taste the residue and it was not salty so its likely thats what this residue is so i wont be using this on my food anymore.A word of caution about the manufacturers website printed on the packet ... there is a possibility the site is infected with oakbot that steals your payment details as several reviewers i talked to said they had security warnings when they looked at the website.

It's salt
I have be honest and say i don't get the hype around people swapping to pink salt but i was hoping this would change my mind.I have tried it whilst cooking and straight onto my food and it just tastes like salt. Maybe if i had received course salt i could have ground it to my preference. For the size of the bag it is quite expensive but will last a long time. For the health benefits it's worth a try but i think cost will play a big factor when it comes time to buy.

Good value for pink Himalayan
I've been using the Himalayan pink salt in my cooking, and it's a solid choice for everyday seasoning. The fine-grain texture works well and is easily blended into dishes. It is of unrefined quality. I'm not sure if that makes it taste any different, but it seems to work nicely to season food, and it’s worth noting a little of this goes a long way, so it’s better to under-season than over-season. Also, the reusable packaging is a thoughtful touch, supporting a more eco-conscious lifestyle. Overall it’s a nice alternative to table salt, albeit a little expensive perhaps in comparison but you get a high quantity of salt with this package and as stated previously a little goes a lot further.

Salty
It is salt with a bit of other stuff. It tastes like salt. When disolved in water they is a small amount of residue that doesn't disolve, I guess that is the result of it being unrefined. As salt it is fine but I am taking a star off for the rather dubious suggestions the listing makes.
