I had bought Erbology’s lions mane powder before and intended to repurchase. This was more expensive than when I purchased before, but I assumed that was unfortunately inflation. I didn’t realise it was shrinkflation. Upon arrival I realised it was much smaller at 30g and instead of 50g. I also realised it said it was ‘dual extract’. Let me tell you the recommended dose of 1g = 1 serving is the same and so is it’s listed composition. So it’s not more potent, it’s smaller and more expensive. By some ways. So I went back and found the earlier listing of their lions mane powder and it has this to say in the company’s own words about dual extract vs whole mushroom powders “No, there's no scientific proof suggesting that dual extracts are better than whole mushroom powders.Many brands indeed assert that dual extracts are more powerful, and that a higher extraction ratio and beta-glucan content lead to better results. However, these assertions are deceptive.” It’s utterly bizarre. Not only are they now marketing this as dual extract as far as I can tell from both the beta-glucan percentage and serving size being the same it isn’t even actually dual extract. Just lie after lie. Erbology is up to something underhand here.

I was happy to find a dual extract Lions mane of this quality which is difficult to find. I praise this company for their reliability and excellent quality of their productsT. Tolson
