I'm not big into water sports but we do spend a lot of time at the beach as a family. One of us usually ends up staying on land, to keep an eye on any valuables.I ordered this bag to solve the problem. Now we can all enjoy the sea together.The bag has a decent 10L capacity so will be enough room for a towel and the bits I'm looking to keep safe. I don't intend to fully submerge so this will be used as protection against unexpected waves. The bag is made of thick PVC (and has that distinctive smell), has a little zip up section at the front (which would be perfect for loose change or the like) and has two clip on straps.I'd never heard of dry bags before so had no idea how to make this waterproof. No instructions were provided so I turned to YouTube for instructional videos. It's pretty straightforward. The top of the bag is reinforced with two black, slightly rigid, bands. You essentially fold these bands over 3 or 4 times then clip together the plastic clips, creating a carrying handle/loop.I have no doubt about this bag's waterproof capabilities and that it will happily float in the sea/pool. If putting in electricals I would probably put them in a separate, small waterproof bag - just to be 100% safe.This will be a game changer though for those beach days, I just wish it had brief instructions for the novices like me who couldn't figure out how to use it!
