Disregard the negative reviews. This isn't difficult to install and it works as completely intended and sold. If the film peels, you've added too much water. Use a spray gun and don't drown the window or film. Gently squeeze any excess water out one installed and then after a few days it will dry back perfectly.

Product arrived undamaged and in good quality with simple instructions (you should watch a tutorial online before attempting)Good stick to the window (with no residue if you pull it off) and easy to cut down to size it does reflect (closer you get the easier you can see in and if you have a light on you can see in, this is standard for all films like this)As you can see from my pictures I'm redoing my front garden and needed the privacy from the road so it's fulfilled all my needsThe negative comments are most likely from those who have not done it correctly, like all DIY, chances are it's the person not the product being the issue.Only 4 stars as instructions were a bit simple though if you're relying on instructions (rather than video tutorials) when doing this then that's why this product didn't work for you

It took a while for me to realise I was only finding these hard to fit because I was using a blunt Stanley knife, but that's because I'm a complete beginner when it comes to DIY, so when swapping the blade out it cut like butter.Once I started to get the hang of it it was simple to install, I would suggest measuring out the windows and allowing an extra half cm on each side to make it as easy as possible, as when I gave it too much to compensate it made it hard to position it accurately.I managed to install this on 24 panes of glass in around 2 hours and the results have been great. I used some cheap supermaket own brand washing up liquid and water in an old cleaning product bottle with a squeeze handle, then used a retail store loyalty card (think it was my Nando's card) to push all of the air bubbles out to make the film flush, easy peasy. To finish, as we have really old single glazed windows, we used a clear silicone to hold everything together around the parameter of each window, this is really optional but it looks nice for us though and helped when a few of the pieces of film were riding up around the edges (these were only riding up as I didn't properly clean some of the windows thoroughly enough, so that is massively important!).Since installing this, the mirrored effect from the outside looks fantastic and it's also made the room slightly warmer as the extra layer of filming is having a kind-of double glazing effect (not quite the same of course but definitely noticeable).All in all I would certainly purchase again as it's great value for money and does the job as described very well.

This is the first time I have given a negative review of an Amazon sold product.Despite following the instructions implicitly the film continues to peel from the glass. I used an Olympic swimming pools worth of water (slight exaggeration but you get the picture), the instructions stated the more water the better adhesion.This morning was the last straw and I am about to remove the film from each window (subject to feedback from Lifetree providing advice on how to potentially alleviate the problem) and throw into the dustbin.In my eyes this has been a total waste of a hard earned £65 and I do not recommend purchasing the product. I cannot return it as I have cut to size.Sorry to Lifetree but facts are facts. I am sure they can provide many positive reviews, I just wish mine was one of them.Watch this space for updates.1st update - The film peeled from all windows so I have removed and set aside awaiting help from Lifetree. In fairness they have responded to my original submission but only to request a review.The film awaits; either a second fitting or the dustbin.....2nd update 05/02/2023. I have definitely left this review long enough for Lifetree to contact me with help with how to make the film to stick to the windows. Sadly they do not appear to have the same attitude as me.Please do not purchase this film unless you are happy to waste your money, remember I did not realize I was wasting my money at the time of purchase. Sorry Lifetree but your lack of action means I am throwing your film into our dustbin this afternoon, totally wish I could have provided a more positive review. Your lack of action says it all. Reasonable price for the product, @ 44.5 cm wide difficult to cut for small window panes resulting in some resistance to squeegee onto the glass. Should I purchase again I’d recommend using a decorating table for cutting on. The product seems quite a good quality though susceptible to scratching even using a Teflon squeegee and soft cloth. Use copious amounts of water ensure the windows are “spotless” for a good finish.

I bought the mirrored film temporarily for a kitchen window that is at the front of the house, for when the car is not parked in front of the window for a week. I like the privacy this film allows me, I have kept my blinds up as bought a few months ago. My brother recommended to me and he also bought the frosted film too, easy to put on.

Bought this for two purposes, to give my son some privacy in his ground floor bedroom and to reduce UV damage to my Lego collection, works a treat during the day but does darken the room a little, at night if the light is on in the room with the blinds not drawn you can see into the room, overall very happy with it.

Wir wollten bei unserem Gartenhäuschen die untere Hälfte der Fenster undurchsichtig machen. Gardinen kamen nicht in Frage, also entschieden wir uns für eine Sichtschutzfensterfolie. Aufgrund des hübschen Designs fiel unsere Wahl auf diese Folie. Sie ließ sich gut verarbeiten, die Anleitung war eindeutig und sie hält, seitdem wir sie vor mehreren Wochen angebracht haben. Wir sind zufrieden.

Gemakkelijk aan te brengen en naar een paar maanden zit het nog steeds goed.

That's fine - eventually figured out.However, I am not happy with it as it is fine during the day but at night when you turn on the light, people outside can see inside very clearly. As such, I had to buy a new privacy film.

Sie sieht nicht so langweilig aus, wie eine schlichte Folie ohne Muster. Die "Montage" war ein bisschen nervenaufreibend, ging aber letztendlich doch gut. Sie ist auch von außen sehr Blickdicht, also nur zu empfehlen.
