I purchased this item to do Emergency food stores. I tried the can of it yesterday. Recipe: Mix it with mac and cheese and a can of corn. Turned out great, And I have to say that the seasoning in this ground beef is really good. I would buy this product again.

Canned meat was brought back from the first artic expedition, placed in the maritime museum for 100 years. When opened, they found no spoilage, no bad microbes. Today's canning is just as reliable. I would suggest using a can as part of a weekly meal. Get yourself comfortable using it, plus the family can become used to these products as well. I am a single widow, so I just zip lock the other 2 portions and freeze for later.

Nice addition to my pantry. Some cans were dented on arrival. Wanted to swap- only option was refund. I plan to double order next time. Nice company.

I don't like canned meat. It's good if you don't want to go to the store and use it as part of a recipe but not on it's own.

I guess it suits it's purpose. I made a can to see what it was like. I spiced it up with Rotel, onion and spices. Mixed it with beef Rice-A-Roni, this is one of my favorite dishes to make. Tasted quite good. The key to remember is this. It last approximately 5 years and is already cooked. A good find and I would purchase it again!

I ordered 6 cans and all 6 arrived with dents. As a food, the product tastes fine and worked well in beef stew. But, my objective for ordering was to obtain a canned beef product that could be stored longer term in my emergency pantry. Receiving an order of dented cans was extremely disappointing. I don't store dented cans. I don't generally buy dented canned products at any store. If I could buy them locally where I could examine the cans, I would do so because the taste was good for a canned product. But, I won't order it again as this product was too expensive to receive dented cans. Buyer beware.

The flavor is good, and the meat has a lot of fat, which enhances the taste. However, the price is a bit high for what you get. That’s the only drawback I see.
