Even Looks Nice & Works Great On A Sunny Interior Window Seal Too
I was having a heck of a time trying to decide on the right location for this very attractive little garden statue. Being just a bit over 10 inches in height, I was a little paranoid that this fairy garden statue might possibly “fly away” with some unscrupulous visitor if I placed it in in the garden area near our front door. Although I have no worries at all regarding the neighbors or the Amazon and UPS delivery folks, we do get more than our fair-share of unwanted solicitors of whom I do not trust. My wife suggested an ideal spot for the statue would be one of the window seals of our bedroom between two potted plants. There’s plenty of sunshine for both the plants and the small solar panel on the rear of the statue. It’s only been a few days at this location but the small automatic lights have operated perfectly and are not at all a distraction when trying to sleep. Although the listing title indicates it is intended for “outdoor” use, I assure you, it can do just fine indoors.

It's not "not okay"; just not "wow"
I've recently been collecting more garden statuary and gnomes and tchotchkes than I'd like to admit and in the process I've developed somewhat of a standard for what constitutes quality and "wow" factor in what I acknowledge are mass-produced plastic and resin... stuff (I was going to say "junk" but that's too pejorative I admit). So don't get me wrong: this is fine - lovely even. I chose it because the expression on the angel's face wasn't weird like many of this ilk are. She has a nice, serene, classically sculpted face/expression that isn't creepy or pained looking. The finish is nice as well - a well-blended sort of faux verdigris over the faux stone. The lights are so-so. Not quite a well-impacted statement; they're just kinda there and on, so they look a little out of place. The solar panel is oddly positioned and hard to "conceal" from common viewing angles. And finally, the size is pretty much on the small-ish size. It's accurately represented; I just wish it were a little more substantial, because all these factors combined make this feel a bit like a desktop trinket more than something that deserves a showcase spot in the garden.Again, I'm being nitpicky as I hinted in my opening comments. I like this, but I don't LOVE it. It has a lot of good points though, so of course make your own evaluation!
