Daily rider here. LOVE this seat!
I live in Seattle, where tons of families bike with their kids, and this is THE seat to have. You see them all over town. So when I found a great deal on one through Amazon Warehouse, I snapped it up, even though I didn't yet have a bike to put it on :)I've since added an Xtracycle Free Radical to the back of my hybrid bike, and installed the seat on that. I specifically got a Flightdeck 2 for my Free Radical, as it has built-in Easyfit windows: This saved me from to paying another $30 for the Easyfit adapter, and the seat sits a few inches lower (directly on the deck vs. up on the adapter), which is slightly more stable. It did take me a minute to figure out that I had to actually cut out the Easyfit window from the Flightdeck 2. It has indentations on the bottom showing where to cut, so this was pretty simple. Once that was done, securely installing the Yepp Maxi Easyfit was a breeze. The included lock is a nice feature, so I can just lock up my bike when I'm out and about, and not have to worry about someone walking off with the seat.I ride with my almost 3 year old daily, for school drop-offs. She weighs around 35 lbs. She fits comfortably and snugly in the seat, with plenty of room to grow. She LOVES it and begs to go biking. I found that the shoulder straps tended to slide off her shoulders, but moving the harness up to the highest setting and tying together the strap ends to make a sort of "chest belt" has completely solved that problem. Having her weight back there did take some getting used to, as it makes the bike slightly less stable, especially when turning sharply, but we haven't had any mishaps yet. My friends who have dumped their bikes with their kids onboard (hey, it happens!) say that the seat does an amazing job of "cocooning" the occupant and preventing injury.I originally used panniers (Ortlieb Backrollers) on my Free Radical's p-racks, and those fit fine in front of the seat, one on each side. Now I have Xtracycle X1 Freeloader bags, and those work, too. On a regular rack, you probably won't be able to fit panniers/bags when the seat is installed. Also, Xtracycle's X2 bags don't work well with this seat. The material is soft and rubbery, very comfortable for the child, but also great in rainy Seattle weather as it repels water better than fabric does.We also have a Bobike Mini front seat, and a Burley trailer. The front seat is my absolute favorite for a smaller child, as it's fun being able to point things out and have conversations, and it has virtually no effect on the handling of the bike. Unfortunately, my 3 year old outgrew it a few months ago, so now it's either the Yepp Maxi or the trailer. I generally prefer the Yepp Maxi; it does affect bike handling some, and it's not quite as good for conversing as the front seat, but it's pretty good. The trailer is my choice on very cold or rainy days, because I can tuck in my daughter with a blanket and know she'll be protected from the elements. If I had to choose only one of those three options for transporting a kid via bike, it would probably be the Yepp Maxi. It lasts longer than a front seat and is more fun than a trailer on all but the coldest/wettest of days. (And on those coldest/wettest of days, a toddler-size JJ Cole Bundle Me fits really well in this seat!)As long as you have a compatible bike/rack, I highly recommend this seat! (If you don't have a compatible bike/rack, check out the Yepp Maxi non-Easyfit version.)

Well-built, solid Thule quality and design
Summary: A great bike seat for your toddler, just make sure the size fits. It's built to Thule's high quality standard reputation. I hoped this seat would accommodate my child at least a couple of years but it's too small for his size (~42") as is, and so had to return it.Pros:- Material is excellent, comfortable for long or bumpy rides, built for durability and extreme weather- Lives up to the Thule reputation- Package arrived intact and very well packagedCons:- Too small for my 4 y/o at his 42" height, leaving little room to growOther observations: While not necessarily an issue with this particular Thule seat, my toddler falls asleep during rides (as many do) and there is some risk of sleeping toddlers in this style of seat straining their necks while falling asleep. It would be nice if Thule or other bike seat mfrs built some sort of brace or adapter to protect kids' necks while they fall asleep on a ride.

Great bike seat!
I've spent a fair amount of time comparing seats and prefer this to others.- Easy to install- Does not hit my 12.5 sized shoes when installed! (unlike reviews suggest of the newer model)- Feels very sturdy, comfortable, lightweight- Easy to put my kid in/out of- I have not seen any movement of the shoulder strapsNo real complaints. Would love some clips or way to hang a bag/backpack/pannier bag but they perhaps prevent it for safety.

I love this seat.
We've had this since our daughter was old enough to ride with us, and I highly recommend it if you are in the market for a rack mount seat. She's a smallish kiddo, so this seat has lasted. She still "fits" as a six year old, although she will be reaching the weight limit on it soon.PROS:-- Easy to swap between bikes. We started out with two 26" Specialized Hardrocks (mine was the smaller frame,) appropriately rated rear racks, and the EasyFit adaptors. Moving the seat between bikes was simple. I usually convinced Daddy to take the kiddo. It only seemed fair. I carried her *in my body,* after all.-- Comfy and durable materials. The seat is made out of a foam that is similar to that of a Crocs shoe. It doesn't soak up water. It wipes clean. The squish is Goldilocks. The holes in the seat do a good job of providing ventilation.-- Built in wheel skirt. The seat has a nice "flange" to it, and it's part of the seat. Prior to our buying this, Grandma found a deal on a different used seat at a consignment sale. The problem? No integrated wheel skirt. I would have had to DIY something because that piece had been lost along the way.CONS:-- High center of gravity. This is an issue with any rear mount seat. Our Yepp days on the Hardrocks were pretty much done when Kiddo got above 30 pounds. It was just too much weight too high up. I recently got a Tern GSD (20 inch wheels,) and we are back to being a bike family. The lower center of gravity makes a world of difference. As does the pedal assist. :-)-- Foot restraints are easy for little feet to wiggle out of. Kiddo had a habit of pulling her foot out of the foot restraint and kicking Daddy on his bottom when he wasn't going fast enough.-- Barrel lock is cumbersome. I don't know who made that design choice, but a barrel key lock is unwieldy on a key chain. I lost our keys and had to order a new set from Holland. (This was prior to the partnership with Thule.) It would be nice if the Thule lock cylinders could be swapped in.-- Straps could use a sternum buckle. This was a bit of an issue when Kiddo was a one year old, and I was a nervous new mom. I scavenged a sternum buckle off of a carseat that had been left on the curb, but the way the Yepp's straps are constructed meant that I couldn't thread it on.TIPS:-- Get a double kickstand. You aren't going to get a kid in this thing without it, even if you have two people wrangling.-- The Easyfit Carrier XL does not work. You are not going to carry panniers and the Yepp seat. The bike will be far too heavy in the back. If it is just you and the baby, plan on putting the diaper bag in a front basket.CONCLUSION:I would absolutely buy this seat again. And I would even buy a second one if I found a deal. We are a one child family, but it would be nice to give a friend or a cousin a ride now that I've got the pedal assist.

Super safe and comfortable
Awesome seat, fits my 3.5 year old who is average size. It fits perfect on the back rack of my E-Bike. Unfortunately my bike took a slide when I hit a hidden curb on a gravel path. On the bright side, my son only sustained a small scratch on his elbow on that fall! Scary incident but felt reassured that the seat is safe. Excellent service from seller and decent delivery time despite the challenges of Canada Post during COVID.

Easy to install
Easy to install. My kids love sitting in it. Like that it can come off easily from the rack. Requires Easyfit adapter which is a little heavy.
