Hung this item in a tree to were we sit and it instantly started to work, it’s bigger than I thought which is even better, easy to set up !

The bait that comes with this is hopeless. The actual trap is of a similar quality to the Red Top traps that it's clearly trying to mimic, but the bait just has no pulling power. It's like spraying Lynx Africa on a nerdy teen and expecting him to be surrounded by supermodels. I'll be going back to Red Top. Serves me right for trying to save a few quid! As for the 1 fly it has caught, I can only apologise that you went out in such an embarrassing manner.

Take a while to attract the flies. Out of the 2 purchased one appears to be working much better than the other. This is despite moving it round the garden.

I buy several of these every year as we live next to a farm. We were pestered by flies, but they fill up the bags now instead. Even recommended to be ighbours.

Loved the product as it actually worked, live next to a farm so lots and lots of flies, these were filled within days. Love them

Purchased as a cheaper alternative to previously purchased original red top fly trap which was devastatingly effective over 8 weeks.Sadly, this alternative was the opposite. Despite being 'activated' over 7 successive sunny days it did nothing other than scare any potentially interested flies away and only managed to trap 3 flies that must have fallen in by mistake.Cannot recommend. Will revert to proceed Red Top original.
