Appears to be a great value
I haven’t used the unit yet but it appears to be good quality at a very reasonable price. Comes in a nice zipper bag to keep items organized. Cheap peace of mind for my car and boat in case of staring problem. Doubles as a strong backup battery for phone etc.

Amazing! Easily started a V-6 van with a totally dead battery!
Weighing in at just 14 ounces (that's OUNCES, not pounds!), and measuring just 6 inches by 3.5 inches by 1.25 inches thick, it like a fat cell phone! (See my picture with the cell phone next to it!) I can just about stash it in my pocket! The charge cables are just 10 inches long, but that's plenty long since you can lay this thing right ON TOP OF the battery you're charging! The cables are built in such a way as to be almost impossible to short them together, as so often happens with normal jumper cables.I have an old cargo van that I use every once in a great while. Its battery is ALWAYS dead when I go to use it, and it was that way this morning. Normally, I have to go out to the garage the day before and charge up my charger, then lug the heavy thing out to the driveway, and hook it up, then crank the engine until it finally sputters to life. Not so today!I got this thing yesterday, and laid it on my dresser and used my USB-c cord, that I use on my phone, to charge this thing (took maybe 3 hours). This morning, I grabbed it and the charge cable set, and hooked it to the van's battery, and the engine turned right over and started up!I am amazed! Way amazed! The unit came with 3 lights lit on the charge scale, and this morning all 4 were lit. After jumping the van, all 4 lights were still lit! So I shut the van down, and started it 5 more times with this charger, and finally, this gizmo showed only 3 lights, and refused to start the van again.I will be storing it in the trunk of my car in the box it came in (a VERY sturdy box), but I wish it had a soft shell case or even a drawstring bag to store it in along with cable set and the USB charging cord, but it doesn't. Even so, it gets an enthusiastic 5-star rating from me, with a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED vote, especially for anyone with an older car, or who lives out in the boonies like I do, or just wants the peace of mind of knowing that you CAN jump start your car when you need it. You just need to remember to charge the unit every few months. HILLDOW certainly has a winner with this product!

My car hasn't needed this yet, but I believe it will work.
Based on my engineering knowledge, I can confidently say that lithium batteries definitely have the current capability to start a car, even though this device is small. What I can't be sure of is if the circuitry between the lithium batteries and the car will deliver it reliably. I'd need a dead car battery to test that. The batteries inside this product actually hold much more than 12V, and the circuitry's job is to bring that voltage down to car voltage. The big question mark here, is, exactly how did they implement those '10 advanced safety protection technologies'. In some other products, those kinds of safety features can be a real nightmare. For instance, I reviewed a lithium powered bathtub spin scrubber. It seemed like an awesome product, until I pressed a little too hard to scrub a deep stain... The unit turned off because of it's 'over current' safety feature. Before lithium, what we would expect is for the product to just slow down, instead of turn off. The result of that 'over current' feature is to make every customer paranoid that they may be pressing too hard, because if they dare to push the limits, the darned thing will shut itself off again. To make matters worse, you had to hold the power button down for 2 seconds to get it back on. Hopefully, this jump starter will try hard, before giving up, and try again, without a long power cycle procedure. That's what I'll be looking for when I finally have the need to jump start a car with this. I'll come back and update the review when that day comes. Enjoy.

You can't beat the utility, size or price of this jump starter!
This is a really nice product. With it's capabilities to start very large gas engines (and reasonably large diesel engines as well), it packs plenty of punch to help almost anyone out of a sticky situation. However, that can be said for almost any high-power jump box. What sets this jump box apart is the compact size. It is really nice and compact, but still have all of the handy features of larger footprint boxes (e.g. LCD display). The diminutive size makes this jump box a cinch to pack away in your trunk or console. It comes with a really nice case that holds all of the necessary accessories (charge cable, jump cables) and the zipper on the case is high quality and easy to work. The box is charged by a USB-C wire, which is really handy. It also has multiple USB connections for charging other devices. This is pretty common on such devices, but again, impressive on one with such tight packaging!I carry one of these in my hybrid car because you cannot jump other cars with a hybrid or EV. So this will allow me to provide help for family or friends no matter the situation. A real game changer!
