The Ordinary - Matrixyl 10% + Hyaluronic Acid, 30ml

I have just left a review lamenting how this products more expensive sister 'Buffet left me with a constellation of spots across my face for the 4 weeks I experimented with it for. I finished up the bottle of acne and have come back to my old faithful. Matrixyl and HA is amazing. It moisturiser, softens lines and leaves my skin clear and smooth. It works better than some £60 serums I have purchased. Nice texture, slightly tacky which is a good base for make up. I use it every morning and night and a bottle lasts about a month. I will be buying again and again..

Without a doubt, the best skin care product I’ve ever used. I previously tried The Ordinary’s HA and retinol products buy wasn’t that impressed. I’d read about matrixyl and thought I’d give this a go. I’m so glad I did as my skin has never looked or felt better.I use a thin layer every morning and evening before my usual moisturiser. It makes my skin feel so smooth and it looks plump, healthy and even.If you’re noticing the first signs of ageing or just feel like your skin needs a pick-me-up, this product is highly recommended.

A great product at a great price.

I really wanted to like this product, however once applied it makes my skin sting for a few minutes. With continuous use after a few weeks my skin became very red and sensitive and I had to stop using it. I love active ingredient list and value for money, but I think I am allergic to phenoxyethanol even it is in a very low concentration in this serum. I will use it a few times a week just to not waste it, but sadly will not buy it again.

This is a viscous clear serum that spreads on really easily. I use it under two other products morning and evening. I put it on first and it works beautifully. This is the second bottle I have bought and I shall definitely continue to buy it. The Ordinary, of which I use several other products, is amazing value and has amazing results. I question whether it is worth paying the inflated prices I have done in the past for similar products with sometimes less good results!

So good, I will not now be without this product. I don't use under make up because it really did nothing for me used that way, but I do use it whenever I've washed make up off. Whilst no miracle worker on wrinkles sadly, it does make my skin feel plumper and firmer, and my skin also looks so much less drier and a little more youthful. It absorbs well and a couple of drops go a long way, with no residual oiliness and no spots.
